Hello, Mod π here. It's been a while! I have decided for this blog that I'll finish uploading the rest of the missing name trains and keep this blog up.
I'll try and see if I can find time to speak with the founder of the group to see if she'd like to do anything with the server. As far as I know, this all came to a slow stop after Shining Live EN's shut down announcement.
If anyone has any questions, feel free to send an ask. I'm happy to answer them.
To preserve our memories of the past five years, we at Saotome Academy have begun a project of archiving all of the stories, voice lines, and other media from the global version of Uta no Prince-sama Shining Live. As this is a huge undertaking with hundreds of hours of content to record, edit, and sort, we are asking for your help!
We have set up spreadsheets, guides, and a discord server to make this process as easy as possible while obtaining consistent content of the highest quality from all parties involved. If you are interested in helping out, please take a moment to look over our guides and see if you can commit to taking on a portion of this project. Itβs going to take a village; but with your support, we can preserve all of these special moments with our favorite idols.

Merge Uta No Prince-Sama Shining Live EN and CN servers with JP Server Before The Servers
ATTENTION ALL UTA NO PRINCE SAMA EN AND CN SHINING LIVE PLAYERS! In case you don't know, KLab made an announcement of the EN and CN servers of Shining Live being terminated on Christmas. As devastating as it this is, there is still hope. Fans are already asking for a merger just as they did when the Chinese version shut down. If KLab could do the merger with Love Live, then they can do the same with Shining Live!
Someone has already made a petition for it, so please sign this, email and share this in any way you can! And if you would like to reach out to KLab yourself, please contact them by this email: [email protected]
LET YOUR VOICES BE HEARD SO THAT WE DON'T LOSE WHAT WE HAVE!
If you're understandably upset at Shining Live Global shutting down, please make sure you're being respectful in any tweets or emails you're directing at KLab! A lot of us are asking for the servers to be merged! And I totally support that!
Just don't be rude when you do so! Be heard! But be heard kindly!

Hi everyone! We would like to thank everyone for joining us here, on Twitter and Discord. It has been a lot of fun!
In light of the Global server's closure announcement, our team has decided to stick around at least until the very last event. This project has reached its first year this month! And while it's true that we are starting to feel the burnout esp. due to lack of staff, we had no plans of completely going away.
So⦠are we continuing to the JP server? We're not sure⦠Some of us are willing but it will ultimately depend on how many of you, the participants, can stick around. We're sure all of us are feeling many things right now, and we understand if some of us can't carry on. For now, we're waiting on how the #UtaPriMerge petition goes and what KLab's ultimate decision will be.

Hello, everyone! This is Mod Mizu π§, the founding organizer of the Massive UtaPri SL Name Trains Project. I probably should have done this sooner but life's been very busy and I apologize, butβ¦
TL;DR - Our group is doing away with sending invites via DMs.

To be honest, we've virtually stopped sending invites since the 11th Rotation has started and while some of us MIGHT still do it in the future (since not only the staff but the participants are welcome to invite people in), we are trying to avoid major staff burnoutβ¦
Anyway, storytime! Not everyone knows this but I originally intended to complete just one rotation to give the stans of all idols a chance to join a name train where they are not required to tier high. The idea was brought about by a group of Natsuki stans who can't play much.
Needless to say, the main point of this project is to let anyone who's interested in joining a name train (that used to be exclusively for the top tiering players) experience it. Everyone's welcome, even if they end up in T6 or T7; as long as they have points, they can join!
For this, I and a few other organizers started DMing and replying to tiering threads; communicating with known stans of the event idol EVERY event. As the head, and probably the most proactive inviter, I'd sometimes send around 20 invites per event for moots and non-moots alike.
I generally went for the top 100 then for my friends up to T3 if we're getting desperate for numbers. It was mostly a fun experience! I got to meet a lot of new people who appreciate the idea and some of them have even become regular participants regardless of who they stan. TY
However, it's also true that personal invites can get super tiring⦠I understand that for some (potential) participants, receiving invites is like being pressured to join while for the staff, it actually hurts getting rejected, ignored, or forgotten (esp. by very busy ones).
It was also a challenge for us to reach out to the top rankers who don't have social media accounts or are on platforms we don't use (e.g. Weibo; and we only started using IG after some of our staff who are active there branched out). Thus, we had no choice but to give up on themβ¦
So, we've ultimately decided to let people join of their free will instead. While we'd love to make new participants happier by being personally invited as some older ones have experienced (and believe me, we couldn't be happier to know that they appreciated it), we believe that the project is now more exposed to the public as we've branched out to other social media platforms (Tumblr, Instagram, and Facebook). Our staff has been working hard organizing, brainstorming, coordinating with a huge number of participants, and editing beautifully~
Andβ¦we'd rather let them focus on those tasks than possibly make them slowly lose motivation over a few invites that won't work (we don't blame anyone though; at times Twitter even hides our DMs under "Message Requests"). Yes, DMing is simple but maybe not on a large scale.
Oh, and we'd like to clarify that we've never intended to disrupt traditional name trains (by the top 10 or so). In fact, we've coexisted with some of them before! If a participant declined our invite because they were in a traditonal one, it was OK. If they joined both, better!
Our point is, until further notice, we're not going anywhere! As long as the game is running and people are interested in doing massive name trains with us, we'll be here at every event, welcoming anyone who wants to join us once or twice or anytime at all! Just no invites nowβ¦
