wrote a donna x rachel fic because they just don’t have a lot of fics together. i’m only at season 1 ep 8 so i am VERY early in suits, and i don’t recall donna and rachel ever interacting up until now, but i just love them sooo much i am so obsessed with them. in the very first episode when rachel told mike she’s not interested and that a lot of men try, but she always rejects them, just screamed lesbian to me. anyway i have my opinions on rachel x mike ( even though i think they are very kawaii together ) but who cares about men rn. happy pride month to lesbians and wlws !!!!!!!!11 oh right here is the link to the fic it’s on ao3

if corbeau has a crush, that man yearns. it hurts his heart, because he doesn’t feel like he can express or even share his feelings with anyone, let alone romantic feelings he harbours for some person who may view him just as negatively as the rest of the city. what he can do, though, is look at them when they’re not looking, making sure their journey from home to work or anywhere goes smoothly, and to tone down his stoic expression just slightly whenever they are around. he will find out about their interests or connections and start caring for them too. erm. you should all just read confession on ao3. :P

What does Soldier 033 think of Front Man? 👀

ohoho what an interesting question . . . starting out as a circle worker, myunggi is quickly made aware of the rank system that the games uphold — the circles are at the bottom, followed by triangles, followed by squares, then the masked officer, and finally, on top of it all, the frontman. the captain, the overseer — and myunggi doesn't regard him in such a positive light if he is responsible for the management and perhaps even creation of these games ( i don't suppose much information is given to unknowing circles . . . they may fill in the blanks by themselves, and myunggi chooses to believe that the frontman created the games ). he hates any of his higher ups, starting from triangles who kill the players, but he especially holds a grudge against the masked officer and the frontman who have more say in how things go on the island.

which is why myunggi finds it even more devastating when he learns he has been promoted to a soldier — he believes his higher ups had a hand in this, meaning the masked officer and the frontman, though he never actually speaks with the latter personally. the frontman remains a faceless silhouette looming over the pink guards, and myunggi despises him.

this is even further pushed when he is notified of the frontman's participation in the game as player 001. myunggi only sees him in the second game, the six-legged pentathlon, where he teams up with junhee out of all people. his orders were clear — if the frontman's team were to lose, kill all witnesses and leave him alive. it meant having to kill junhee and keeping this bastard alive. it made myunggi sick, and now he could put a face to the title he has learned to hate with all his being. he, that old fucking man, was responsible for all of this. myunggi probably believes that he also had a hand in his promotion, though i feel like the frontman leaves such menial tasks to the masked officer alone.

sorry, what was i saying? i was saying that myunggi fucking hates the frontman. seeing him fuck up spinning top — most likely on purpose — made his blood boil, and he truly has the strongest self restraint to prevent him from aiming his gun at player 001's head and pull the trigger. not only did he fuck up myunggi's life, he was also putting junhee in mortal danger, and myunggi hates him with every cell of his body.

i think putting this in the show would add onto the fact that people change drastically during the games, to the point of losing humanity. the players are starved, but are they starved enough to consume another human being? especially if the human on their plate was one of the eliminated players?

since i’m a myunggi main, i want to highlight his reaction were this to happen. to get to the point, i believe myunggi would continue eating. the meals he had received up until now were scarce and not enough input for the energy output during this week. as soon as the food is served, myunggi begins eating — with haste, as if they’d take the food away from him if he didn’t hurry. when they would announce that the meat on their table was human meat, belonging to the eliminated players of this game, i think myunggi would flinch for a second. and he considers putting down his knife and fork for a second. but his hunger overpowers his fear and guilt, his survival is the very thing that drives him further. besides, he was too far gone anyway — what was eating human meat on top of all the crimes he’d already committed? so he keeps eating, trying to ignore the fact that he was committing cannibalism, and does not realise that gihun is looking at him — and the rest of the greedy players — with disgust, not touching his food for the rest of the night. the thought of possibility that the meat on his plate could be junhee crossed myunggi’s mind — but like i said, this man has his brain off, and is operating on his survival and greed alone.

my take on myunggi’s character (squid game spoilers)

he was a shit bf because she kept telling him to get a job to support them instead of the whole cryptocurrency thing (i imagine she had a minimum wage job like a cashier or waitress), but myunggi never listened to her and insisted that he could make money this way, even though he had a perfectly fine college degree that he never used. that, and myunggi’s affection towards junhee was mostly responsibility, like acts of service. i don’t think myunggi had ever been in a proper relationship before junhee, and junhee might also never had been in one before myunggi, which was why they stayed together for a long time (in my fic, they were together for 4 years). after the whole crypto scam and myunggi telling her to get rid of the baby, junhee realised that he wasn’t exactly the man she needed to be spending the rest of her life with, and left him.

i have more to say but i just woke up so i’m too tired rn lmao <3 i love you myunggi. . . you rat bastard <3 put him in the blender now <3

the original photo had a blue background so i had to edit it to pink because it fit the idea of pink guard myunggi so much, especially with the triangle on his cheek! i didn’t know how to change the blue light on his clothes though and didn’t feel like finding that out lol. i wanted to add his name 이명기 on it as well, but i can’t find the squid game font for hangul / korean alphabet, so if anyone comes across it please let me know, that’d be awesome! anyway, here’s the link to the fic, which currently has only one chapter. i’m still brainstorming about what could happen next but in the meantime, i’m bingewatching siwan edits lmaooooo <3

soldier 033: lee myunggi (fic on ao3)

an alternate universe where lee myunggi is a pink soldier instead of a player.

Summary: Desperate to pay off his debt after being scammed by the newest cryptocoin that he promoted on his channel, Myunggi puts on the mask, thinking he'd return to the island as a circle worker. Unfortunately for him, the mask bore a triangle, and Myunggi knew that he would no longer be an innocent bystander. (AU where Lee Myunggi is a pink soldier).

squid game s3 spoilers incoming, be warned. i really enjoyed writing this one! i finished watching s3 of squid game and i'm obsessed with it now. i couldn't ignore how well myunggi would fit to be a pink soldier instead of a player. it was really interesting to see how he acted in the last episodes, it really gave me the insight to his character. he really does only care about himself, but only because this is the only thing he knows how to do. he doesn't know how to just ‘be friends’ with anyone, he doesn't know how to form a connection with anyone and doesn't see the benefit of it if it doesn't help him in his survival. the closest thing he had to a loving bond with anyone was with junhee, and he fucked that up so bad because he was still only concerned with keeping himself alive, rather than thinking for the both of them as a team. myunggi has always been a solo player and i enjoy writing this into this alternate universe. i have many more thoughts about myunggi, and i love that he is a very complex and realistic character. other than that, i just really love yim siwan lol. i'll see how far i get with this fanfic, but for now, have the first chapter of this project! as usual, it's posted on ao3, so check that out and let me know if you enjoyed it. <3

Summary: After seeing someone so pretty on the subway, they're on Reigen's mind constantly. At some point, Dimple tells him he has to do something about this, because this is really pathetic. So Reigen promises to ask for his subway crush's number!

basically, reigen is obsessed with someone he saw on the subway and he's constantly daydreaming about them! i wrote this fic based on this instagram reel and i was like yeah, this is something reigen would do. at first i wanted to put it on tumblr, but there's a character limit on posts, so i had to put it on ao3. it's not that much of a serious fic, but i hope it's enjoyable regardless. <3
