177 posts later, and it is done. What started out as a joke turned into a surprisingly large project!

I started drawing terrible Benny pictures to cheer someone up, and over time I noticed that the stash of pictures was pretty big. I thought to myself "hey, sometimes people make tumblrs about side characters and niche themes. Maybe I should make one so everybody can see these awful drawings!" And thus the blog began.

Originally, it was called "Ugly Drawings of Benny." But I realized they weren't ugly so much as they were slapdash: quick, careless, lazy, and with a bare minimum of effort. I'm so glad that this little fan community has enjoyed them as much as I've enjoyed making them.

This blog may have started as a joke, but I've been so pleasantly surprised by how nice you lego fans are! I'm out of touch fandom (and tumblr)-wise, but it's been quite the experience. The rad fanart, the cosplay, the weird (and suddenly smutty) fanfictions, all the webs of interconnected AUs and OTPs that I can't even begin to decipher. Thank you all for being so nice and letting me join in the fun!
