ashley isn’t all too brave. he puts on a brave front like he’s some macho guy--but in reality he startles very easily. he’s also not very good at his job, surprisingly. exorcising and killing demons is something he’s good at, yes, but all the stuff in between--he’s basically one huge fucking joke.

that being said, ashley takes his job seriously. and he ALWAYS gets the demon in the end. no matter how messed up he might get.
