Ok so I just did the foundry flashpoint lol

I Didn’t Know where to find it!

So I ended up doing it like right before starting the Shadow of Revan arc and dear y’all it both made me laugh so hard and want to cry

First t it was a bit awkward taking a mission from Malgus after already doing false emperor

But I was like listening to him and I was like, oh that kinda sounds like Revan, Oh This IS the Revan mission

and then I get the call from Revan and I was like ahhhhhh

Because I love Revan, but my inquisitor hates the concept of that man and to have that man no longer just a concept she was pumped to smear him on the ground

And then HK, oh boy, at first I rationalized the size difference on Holocall as it projecting him bigger then he was, no that was in fact not the case

I think my inquisitor is going to have to realize a few things about themself soon

You can’t say you loth everything Revan, and then be fond and charmed by both his cult, and Droid

Also HK being at the factory makes so much more sense as to how Malgus got his hands on a HK

HK was a fucking nightmare to kill, and I can’t even be mad about it because I love that droid too much, of course he’d manage to kill me most of the times it’s HK

But Revan, dear Revan did you have to stab me in the heart when you said that that was the original HK

I THOUGHT IT WAS A DUPLICATE

I had to pause the game to proses I had just destroyed the original HK

I sounded like I winded wounded animal

Fuck Revan is dramatic, like the melodrama was making me awkward, Revan I know your edgy but please for my own sake, leave the monologues to Malak, his were surprisingly deep, yours are giving me second hand embarrassment my dear

And then he turned into glitter dust

I love Star Wars, and it’s amazing always having active in the background of your mind because just lines or quotes or scenes will just pop into your mind and your just like “ya, Ya” like something you just got to go with it, better then not going with it.

Like your having a pretty bad day and you just hear “your focus determines your reality” and by god is that true, the amount of times I’ve course corrected my day by taking a moment read something cute, fluffy, or humour, kiss my cat a few times and shift my mind from what’s wrong to the things that are nice, how you approach and perceive things makes a difference, like it’s in psych 101, for instance the other day my poster fell of the wall and landed on me, it scared the shit out of me and sent my cat running, it easily could have been an inconvenience that messed with me for a while and it did but not as much as is could have, instead of thinking about the negative I thanked it that it did this well I was awake, at home to catch it, there when it happened, that the shock got me off my phone and I was cut from the doomscrolling making it easier to open my laptop to do work instead of opening my phone again, was I still jittery the rest of the day ya, did l flinch at every noise the posters made thinking another was going to fall, ya. Did it take two hours before my cat returned ya. But don’t focus on those.

I have it it every time there’s a topic I’m not interested in talking about, be it like a genuine knowing the conversation will nog be pleasant or just something I don’t care for, I can hear him

I normally wake up at 7-8, but today I woke up at 6, I was displeased, didn’t feel right, but then from the caverns of my mind I hear the echo of

And well I’ll probably never witness the first one but I’m up early enough to catch the end of the colourful part of the sunrise

It’s going to be interesting when my Sith inquisitor gets to the shadow of Revan arc.

Mainly because they are a bit possessive of historical items, and well when they retrieved Revan’s mask for the Revanites they instantly categorized that mask as their mask, and tho they did hand the mask over in order to pass the trial that mask still belongs to them.

intentionally they promised that it would be in their own hands again, they are just letting the order have it for now until they are in a position to keep it indefinitely.

So yes their first thought when seeing Revan is not “that’s Revan” it’s “what tf are they doing with My mask”

And they will probably just want to kill Revan for the sole purpose of “that’s my mask” and they think Revan has to be dead dead for that because it is original Revan’s mask so Revan has like seniority of possession of it, so it’s not their mask again until the original possessor is nada.

Sometimes I just like wish I could explain to my companions exactly what I’m doing because like ahhhhhhhh

For example

The Revanite quest, I’m like infiltrating it, so of course I’m going to try to indear myself to them by not insulting them and being polite

And so like after every sentence I say there’s just

“Khem Val Disapproves”

And it just makes me want to scram/cry out of frustration

Khem I too disapprove of being a suck up but we’re on an infiltration mission right now.

I also really wanted to keep that mask

Qui-gon Jinn Headcanon

I was listening to the audio book of “Dawn of the Jedi: Into the void”

I heard them refer to Qigong Kesh

and I couldn’t help but think to myself that sounds awfully like Qui-gon

This brought me to the Idea that maybe in universe, Qui-gon was named after this temple

but it’s a terribly old temple, not anyone would know about it

Maybe some historians, archaeologists or archivists, at least the ones that concentrate on Jedi history

So that’s where my headcanon comes in:

Qui-gon’s parents were Jedi corps members, most likely of the EduCorps and they named Qui-gon after the “Tython Je’daii Temple of Force Skills: Qigong Kesh”

How would obi-wan and Anakin react to learning about kreia’s beliefs on the force?

I think obi-wan would disagree with a lot of the points kreia makes, but he would contemplate on the act of thoughtlessly following the will of the force.

I don’t believe Anakin would manage to register much farther then the part about the force being a slaver and him it’s slave before thinking himself into a mental breakdown.

Obi-wan has been doing research on past wars that the Jedi have participated in, he thought it would be useful with the war really starting to pick up, but he unfortunately fell into a rabbit hole about everything that was going on during the time of the old republic, inevitably he wanted to know why? Why would kreia join the dark, create the sith triumvirate, the Jedi purges. So he tries to find out why, eventually in the council only section he finds a scan of an old paper written by kreia detailing her philosophy, loading it onto his datapad he returns to his rooms to read it over tea.

He doesn’t agree with her beliefs but it does give context to her actions, he wonders if she always believed the force should be destroyed or if her fall radicalized her beliefs. Obi-wan thinks that if the philosophy were to have been less extremest they could have had a few points that would be worth debating over, such as following the will of the force, some people might follow it to the point of inadvertently causing harm

for instance you where braking up a slave ring and the slaver had managed to get away, the force is urging to to go after the slaver, to blindly follow the will of the force would be to instantly go after the slavers, but what about the slaves?

Just because the force wants you to go after the slaver doesn’t necessarily mean that the slaves will be alright in your absence. Sincerely to ones feelings the urging of the force must be acknowledged and taken into consideration when making the right decision, the priority of the force is the slaver but it would be wrong to leave the slaves unprotected and without aid, so for instance I could take a moment to check if any of them are in critical conditions and if he hasn’t already run after the slaver ask Anakin who would have more experience dealing with slaves and what kind of care they need to protect them and make sure someone doesn’t try to take advantage of the sudden group of free slaves.

After obi-wan gets called away for a council meeting Anakin flops onto the couch, board he decides to snoop into what obi-wan was researching

Eventually he finds the paper obi-wan was reading and decides to read the intro or something but doesn’t get much farther then that:
