Maki A to Z and Back || Closed RP

"....."

Maki Aikawa feels like she's new to this whole demon general thing. Despite being several months in, she feels that she isn't a good fit for it, however...hearing that there aren't a lot of women who are sorcerers need a secure place to train under. Since the Demons of Oda are mostly boys.

She heard that the Jujutsu Society has outdated views on the two sexes when Oda explained this to her. So she decided, why not? She took on the task! She was bored anyway. After taking on the role, she is given charge of the street fights since she's at the top of street fighting and oversees the underground fights that Hina Hongou, her new friend and rival, reigns as champion. If anything, Hinae is more suited for the role of demon general, but Hina Hongou said Maki is a good role model or whatever that means....

To be fair, she joined because she is chasing bliss. The bliss isn't enough in the so-called normal street fights. But the fights she had using jujutsu were as close to her bliss as possible. It felt amazing.

"Aikawa!!"

Her thoughts were interrupted as one of her fellow Oda members went over to her in a panic. "We got a curse situation at the venue! Come over!" Said her teammate.

"On it!" She throws her empty drink into the trash can and runs over. She hopes there's a curse that gives her a good fight. Or curse user.

She felt it before she saw it—cursed energy, sharp and undisciplined, bleeding into the air like static.

Maki stepped into the venue with the weight of her cursed tool steady on her back, boots crunching over shattered tile and sticky concrete. A half-lit underground arena, still buzzing with leftover heat and tension. The kind of place that tried to mimic lawlessness but reeked of rules anyway. Rules made by fists.

Her mission was simple: investigate curse activity surrounding these underground fights. What she didn’t expect was the girl standing dead center in the aftermath — half-dressed like a fighter, sipping green tea through a straw like this was break time.

The cursed residue clung to the air, light, but present.

Maki’s eyes narrowed as she approached.

“You.”

Her voice cut through the silence. Calm, low, unflinching.

“You in charge here?”

The girl looked her way — tall, strong build, some street-borne arrogance stitched into the shoulders, but not the kind that came from running her mouth.

Maki scanned her once, head to toe. Registered everything: the lazy drink, the alert stance, the spark in her eyes that hinted she was looking for a fight — not avoiding one.

“I’m Zenin Maki. Jujutsu High sent me on a curse control mission,” she said coolly. “I assume you’re not the curse.”

A pause, then a tilt of her head, brow lifted.

“…But you look like you’re waiting for one.”

Tips, Tricks and Gadgets! || Closed RP

Coming to Tokyo Jujutsu High is a dream come true. He can finally learn some things while being here! Told that this school can teach him how to learn things the right way and apply the teachings to himself. But he can't get too comfortable. Given his track record, he wants to improve himself so he can become a better sorcerer. He wishes there were a training dummy to use his technique, but that's okay!

Daichi grins at himself as he goes to set up his own training dummies. Just...old piles of wood, having them glued together with gorilla glue, hopefully build it up to the height of a human being. And ho and behold! A training dummy! Lastly, he taped a piece of paper with a doodle (a cartoonish monster face ) onto the wooden dummy.

He takes a step back and puts his hands on his hips, happy with his small DIY project...even if it's not perfect...

"Perfect!" Time to go training. Eito, his shikigmai, is sitting on the uphill grass next to the stars, relaxing and watching his partner begin his sword training. He pulls out his toy sword and begins whacking it on with some sound effects from yours truly! "Hiya! Ah! YAH!"

Outside of class, the training grounds were hers.

A thorough routine: grab the gear, zip it tight, and walk. The clang of metal, the silence of solitude—the only things that made sense anymore. Panda and Toge had already mentioned they'd skip today. Yuuta was still abroad. She expected the ground to be empty.

Her sharp eyes caught movement in the distance—a figure striking at a makeshift dummy with all the subtlety of a beginner. She stopped mid-step and narrowed her gaze. Short brown hair. Unfamiliar.

She approached without announcing herself, watching. The grip was wrong. His feet were unsteady. The blade, too wild.

“Oi.” Her voice cut through the air, “You're doing it wrong.”

Boots pressed against the gravel as she stopped a few feet from him, hands resting on her hips, a cool stare aimed straight at him.

“That grip? Trash. You swing like you’re trying to break your own wrist.” She tilted her chin slightly, almost challenging. “Bad habits stick. You keep this up, and you’ll be eating dirt.”

Then, after a pause, not mocking—she asked,

“…Want me to show you how it’s done?”

Hi everyone! This is Dani, mun of this blog. am 25+ old. So here are the rules No hate or drama – I don’t follow people who stir up either.

I usually follow back when it’s a fellow RP blog.

I do not rp smut with Minor RPERS ( That is illegal )

Warning: My activity is active. So active that I rp a lot! Like a lot! So I post replies within minutes with mutuals whose also active. So if that bothers you, that's okay! But if you want to interact but don't want to follow. I am aware that some rpers want to keep their dashes clean and it's completely understandable. Heck, shoot me an ask if you want to interact even if we aren't mutual due to that specific reason!

I don’t mind OCs or any fandom, but if it’s a fandom I don’t know about then I might send you an ask so you can help me fill in what the fandom is about if it’s confusing. It will help us both! Or maybe surprise me!

As for OCs! I love OCS. After all, I am rping OC. That said, I don’t mind characters that seem like “sues”. So if you're a rper who is worried about your OC being 'sue', please let me know so I can help out. After all, I know the feeling when starting out as OC rper. I think building an OC is a starting point, what they need is a journey. By 'journey' I mean by threads to see how your OC reacts with their surroundings and the world in general. I believe it's a good way to build character development. OCs never stay what they are at the beginning. They grow. After all, OCs are like our babies, right?

That said, if the several threads, I can’t follow you or RP with you any longer if it's not working out. Things like pushing your OC muses on me for smut and such without no build is a no-go.

Godmodding is not permitted. I won’t do it, so don’t please do it either.

When ti comes to combat roleplaying or fighting rps, I prefer to plot it out (especially in a fight scene) before your muse does anything to mine ( like who wins or loses or ending in a draw or the fight is interrupted by external factors).

As for the font sizes, I can change the font size to match your writing style in a thread if you wish. If my font or format is hard to read or the opposite, just ask! But I do not do fancy fonts or anything complicated. I believe in legibility.

I have some trouble with my grammar, but if we’re writing together, I invite you to correct it. Sometimes I get overly excited and write as fast as I think and even after double-checking, I might miss a few things like typos or a few grammatical errors. My apologies and please let me know if I have a typo or is there anything confusing to you, I make sure to fix it right away. On one side, I am forgiving towards grammar errors. Most rpers here want to practice their writing, yeah? To me, it's not a big deal as long as I understand what you're saying.

Please message me or inbox me if you have ideas for plotting. I love plotting threads and planning them.

If I made a mistake in the thread, or if the reply is at all confusing, please! Just PLEASE tell me in IM or ask and I can fix it! If there’s a need for any clarification, please ask me and I will answer right away.

Interacting with Demons of Oda

I love fighting and serious rp, as well as crack! So I’m flexible!

I have no qualms about writing problematic and dark themes. I mean this is JJK, right? Things get crazy.

I don’t mind RPing action, gore, dark or anything! (romance is rare)

Speaking of romance, romantic relationships are rare for me. If you request one, it needs chemistry and time between our muses ( a slow burn) especially if they have incredible dynamics. I don’t like when relationships between our muses don’t develop and go straight to romantic without any reason. I do not mind if your muse wants to date my muses but you must ask and it needs to have a good reason why though. I recommend a good story with a reasonable plot that can possibly build up a romantic relationship between them over time. That said, I have the right to disapprove if I feel if it doesn’t work out.

As for other ships, I mostly prefer platonic, rivalry, mentorship, friendship, enemies, frenemies, dependence, familial, sisterhood, brotherhood, and bonding. Again, romance is pretty rare for me but I’m not against it, it just needs development between our muses to get there. 

That said, I do not ship adults with minor muses in romance ships.

You have  FULL permission for your muses to hit and discipline Rioto, if he does something stupid or says the dumbest things. It is allowed and encouraged. Sometimes that guy needs a reality check and it’s a way to pull the reins on him if he does something crazy that is dangerous. So if your muse has the urge to smack him upside the head or bonk him because he does or says something stupid, please feel free. 

Also one more thing! if you are interested in other members of Oda, good news! I also rped as them as well! So if you want your muses to interact with Omida, Torahito, Shukaku, Iku and etc, please let me know in the dms or on starter calls!

Note: if I unfollow you which is HIGHLY unlikely for me to do so….please assume it’s a Tumblr glitch or misclick on mobile  ( like I misclick the follow button when I want to click on the ask button and then follow you back which is a likely cause. This happens on mobiles when I scroll down and hit unfollow by accident) If I unfollow you, I softblock you. Because of this, if you unfollow me whether I unfollow you first or not ( and I don’t remember that happening.) I will send you an ask to confirm if it’s a Tumblr glitch. If that is not the case, please ignore the ask and I will understand thinking it’s a softblock and I move on after a few days of waiting.
