Went to a showing of the Backrooms today.

I don't know how the movie ends, because it cut off three times and it was too late to stay until they would have fixed the problem.

But don't worry, me and my friends did get compensated. Got a 15€ coupon for that cinema and a free drink.

I am still salty, though, because only roughly 20 minutes were left of it

@rotting-words I am so sorry for the delay! Hope you can still enjoy this gift 🫶 This piece is my interpretation of what would have happened if Flickergate was true. It is a mixed media piece, using a lot of traditional art supplies (a canvas, acrylic paint and markers, crayons, coloured pencils etc.) but I also used digital art for the sketch and the first colouring.

Hot take, but I am actually happy that they are making a Labubu movie. In the sense that i am very happy, as an artist myself for Kasing Lung. And if it wasn't for the overconsumption, people would hate them less. But every trend nowadays gets so over the top that people will just hate it because of its popularity (not to mention the overconsumption, which was really unnecessary). It's just that every time I see the hate for them, I think about the artist who created them and it was his passion project only to be reduced to a trend (Like there was no need for a Dubai chocolate Labubu and it was just to benefit from current trends and maybe even ragebait for engagement to annoy people even more with both things)
