y'know, some selfshipping accounts don't talk about their f/os because they have anxiety, they get extremely self aware when they're being perceived, they're sensitive to what others think of them and their f/os, they don't know what to do with the attention their selfship receives, they have low self-esteem and feel like they shouldn't like their f/os, they have f/os that are demonized, they're afraid of accidentally triggering a non-sharer with their selfship, they get anxious when posting about their selfship and then delete the post, they think no one will care, they're afraid of interacting, they struggle communicating but want to try, they're not as romantic and vocal as other selfshippers, etc...

and no one should feel obligated to explain themselves to online strangers

also, just because someone is not talking about their selfship doesn't mean they're not talking about it elsewhere. some people selfship in private, others have dedicated blogs to each f/o
