my self has been having many difficulties mentally, and is working on improving themselves. that progress is made with studying, and much curiosity about the surroundings. hoping to become better in a manner that is undeniable, and belong to a community around self-improvement.

sent another application for temporary work. unfortunately it does appear that my wanted line of work is completely over-saturated, and isn't showing signs of getting better. (ㆆ_ㆆ) so suppose it's better for my self to spend time searching for manners to, mmh... gain experience and knowledge in this, and other fields, while searching for long-term work. there's several fields my self is currently looking into.

anyway... have begun studying the evolution of whales this morning. more interesting than expected. this notebook will take more than this month to finish, though. my driving theory is getting better grades as well.

had been in a slump for around eleven days. fortunately, am managing to recover faster than before. (◡ ― ◡ .)

finally finished my notes about shark species, and am moving on to whales. so far, this has been incredibly interesting. learning can become an interest on its own, without the pressure that comes with school.

ah, and have found an internship for this year. rather short, but it's experience and im relieved to finally have somewhere to actually work, rather than remain in my room. hoping to practice my vocabulary and social skills to fit in a minimum.

anyway... quite content with my progress. despite my mood worsening―happens regularly―managed to remain productive. my room is clean, my water bottle is emptied three times everyday, my studying remains. have studied sharks especially, today. have consulted these pages for my notes:

good rainy day...

made much progress in mathematics, though my lessons are beginning to enter the "haven't practiced in school" territory, which makes them more difficult. but consider this:

working at my own pace actually feels much better, though. it gives me time to write my notes as detailed as possible, because my self has read that understanding everything about your subject is much, much more efficient than merely memorising facts.

managed to study much more than normally.

so there's progress in mathematics. it's actually quite interesting, and my self feels some shame for not understanding this earlier.

recently there was finally a thunderstorm, and it was beautiful. lightning everywhere, and the thunder was a soothing rumble. remained in the grass for some time, with a cat that sometimes visits our garden. it's always so affectionate, and didn't seem afraid of the rain. sometimes i wish these moments could happen every evening.

other than that, have figured out how much fawning dictates my every decision. my thought process to improve this, is to make an "improvement sheet" with everything i'd like to become. then work on attaining this self. so that my confidence can gain some strength.

nothing much is happening in summer, much too warm.

been reading some articles and exploring methods that therapists use. an interesting article─maybe the content is obvious to everyone else─has been "it's a family thing: when passive-aggressiveness is passed on," published by andrea brandt on goodtherapy. they mentioned the different sorts of anger, and the article made me realise i'd taken traits from my mother. that is a horror. but you can't improve what you don't know.

link: it's a family thing.

really liked the explanation that anger itself, is merely an emotion. you can be angry and remain calm when expressing so. therefore, my communication when angry can be clear if my self decides it, and anger from someone else doesn't have to be so terrifying either.

sometimes my mind wanders, and it returns to depressive thoughts. it's a shame. because it's very, very difficult to remain disciplined when there isn't much hope. but you must. that's how things are.

really longing for autumn and the clouds.

but summer's here, and spending the entire day confined in my room means there is nothing but studying to be done. boredom is a good thing sometimes. have been learning mathematics from the beginning, after having given up during my childhood. will not give up again. the more knowledge someone has, the more independence. and while billions must remain sensitive and kind, depending on someone tends to disappoint. my dream really is more more more knowledge.
