[WIP] Just a small update to show that I am not dead yet. This comic should describe how Corbeau and Satō met. Also loved @nartothelar ‘s headcanon of Corbeau hating being woken up before his alarm so I implemented it :>

Finally finished the character sheets for both Corbeau and Satō! Just a little overview, nothing too big but if you feel like learning more about them then feel free to expand the post :3

Beside the ship chart here are some more facts about Satō:

Satō does not know how he ended up in Lumiose City. One night he was still in Veilstone City and then woke up somewhere in a foreign city with no recollection.

Satō does remember where he was from and what group he worked for but he can not recall any face nor names

Satō found himself indebted to Corbeau after beating up all his staff (besides Phillipe), creating a huge mess and being offered shelter until they all figured out why he even ended up in Kalos in the first place

Since Satō’s unpredictable and irrational outbursts of anger cause more harm than good, Corbeau does not let that man perform communal services

Fun fact: Satō has untreated BPD and OCPD

During his stay in Lumiose City, Satō was followed around by an Absol and this Pokémon reminded him of a special someone but since he has no recollection of anything he cannot pinpoint the person

Corbeau does not allow Satō to use any of his Pokemon other than Gyarados and Pangoro

MarinePoison got me thinking about what their dynamic actually is because I genuinely dont know. Satō does not work for the Rust Syndicate and is indebted to Corbeau for physically beating up his weak yakuza goons and for the provided shelter. Yet Satō cant help with a lot of communal service due to not understanding French and the only people he understands are Corbeau and Phillipe since they both speak Japanese fluently. In the end Satō wasnt worth the time, money and nerves to be kept around but sth intrigued Corbeau enough to not let that Sinnohan stray walk around aimlessly in Lumiose City.

Another thought I had was that both Corbeau and Satō had a similar childhood where they literally fought for their survival and ended up in shady business to provide for themselves. But while Corbeau actually made a name for himself and puts honour first, Satō ended up in even shadier stuff that will prolly let Corbeau's loan sharking look very tame in comparison. But thats none of Corbeau's business, nor would Satō rly open up about it anyway. Corbeau prolly loved the challenge Satō portrayed with his impulsive and reckless behaviour, knowing damn well that Satō wont turn on him since that man had a great understanding of loyalty which he had to pledge while working off his debts.

Also MarinePoison shipping will never ever pursue a relationship cuz Corbeau is very much aromantic to me and Satō has a very disorganized attachment style and fears attachment in general. But their overall interpersonal relations and conversations are peak comedy, trust
