needed a good cry so I finally showed my partner encanto last night, he was super invested in the Bruno storyline from the beginning he wanted to know what was going on with that, he was fully convinced Bruno was a villain and gave several theories about where it was going, and then like 2 seconds after Bruno actually gets introduced he goes “wait…his power is just OCD? Is this why you like him so much?”

Want to ask my friends what their workout splits are but every time you ask someone that it leads into talking about Your workout split and/or giving you unsolicited advice and I don’t wanna fucking do that

Maybe it’s a me thing and maybe it isn’t but I feel like bosses just genuinely don’t get how fucking embarrassing it is to have to reschedule someone because they didn’t update the calendar or whatever

Like my job is to call the person and schedule. The only way I can do this is if you tell me what days are available. Luckily there is this great invention called a calendar where you can write down your conflicts so I can look at it, find a time that there is no conflict, and schedule the person.

When I do that scheduling, and then an hour later I have to call them back to reschedule because you’re actually not going to be in the office that day, I look like I am incompetent at my job. This is exacerbated by the fact that I am incapable of blaming my boss for any such issue, so I am always taking on the “fault” of this scheduling mixup

So again, I look incompetent

And it’s fucking embarrassing

And I’m getting really sick of it

Every year I try and get friends to come to the local pride event with us. I have yet to be successful. But this year my wedding anniversary falls on the same day, so we’re making pride the first half of our anniversary celebration. Now they’re socially obligated to come. I am so smart.
