True story of a fake nerd girl and also one of the best people I've ever known

So there's this girl and we've been talking for a long time. We don't have a lot in common but she's super smart and I admire that, she's always asking me questions about myself and what kind of things I like. Now one thing about me is that I'm really nerdy and I like my comic books and superheroes a lot and sometimes I get a little too into it and ramble about obscure things and whatnot. She's always seemed to have a slight interest and was able to keep up with some more of the obscure stories I was talking about so I always just assumed that she knew these things. So rewind to last week when i told her I wanted to find someone to join my teen titans cosplay group as Damian Wayne and this is one of the few times we talked about this stuff in person. Her face went kind of blank for a second like she was thinking and then said something along the lines of oh yeah the Nightwing guy. Now the robins are pretty easy to follow, she had done it before and she knew a lot more complicated stuff compared to knowing the lineage of robins so I corrected her and just kinda brushed it off. Turns out I the 6 months we've been talking every time I would get nerdy she would be looking up and researching all she could about the things I was rambling on so she had an excuse to keep talking to me and she thought inly was cute when i got so into it and the light in my eyes would light up. For 6 months, this girl had been researching, learning about comics and superheroes that i was into, watching young justice and justice league, even buying a couple comics and catching up on all the marvel cinematic universe just so she could talk to me about things that I love. I've never had anyone go to that much work for me, she went through all that just to make me feel like my interests that most people find annoying and stupid were valid and appreciated. She's one of the greatest people I've met in a long time. Im so glad I've met her and I hope I can one day be as good to her as she is to me.

Everyone who's freaking out about Captain America being revisit for being a hydra agent

Remember that time superman died, and then 3 issues later come back? Remember that time Robin was working for Deathstroke? Remember that time that Spider-Man literally became evil after being overtaken by the venom symbiote? Or how about that time the blue beetles scarab almost made him help the reach take over earth? Yeah and then remember how none of that was freaking permanent because it's a fucking comic book and having the hero become bad for a few issues to sell a story and get reader talking about your comic book? Making Steve Rogers a hydra agent is not racist, it is not marvels way of being Anti-Semitic. It's a story that is being used to sell the issues, in a few issues Steve will be back to being goodie goodie, bad language hating, shield weilding cap and marvel will be that much richer because all of the haters out there who see this as a blatant attack on their views are doing them a huge favor by spreading the word about their comics. So if you're too sensitive to enjoy, what I would call a pretty interesting story arc, stop reading for a few issues them come back to it but don't ruin your comic book loving followers feeds with your bull crap about marvel hating your people, enjoy the story and move on with your life. Rant over.

Depends on the girl, if I feel like it'll pan out into something bigger then yeah. Having said that I've done it before and it was a mistake so I'm always a little apprehensive now. But I did with this girlI'm seeing now and it's worked in my favor so far.
