Haiii!! This is my OC, Jack!! His mutant name is Slicer. His mutant ability is that he has blades under his skin that come out when triggered or when he wants them to. Also all his hair is white. Because of the blades, he has cuts like, all over his body. Which DEFINITELY isn’t an analogy to self harm..

MUTATION//

Jack has extra iron in his blood, (which causes hemochromatosis). When triggered, his blood will turn into pure metal, and some will eject out of his veins and will harden, creating razor sharp blades. His eyes will also turn into metal when triggered but (somehow) he can still see (?). The extra iron (hemochromatosis) causes his joints to often be sore and her skin to be a sickly tone of pale. (There’s other symptoms like liver failure but his isn’t that severe. He doesn’t have a healing factor but as he gains better control of her mutation he will acquire one.

LORE//

Jack is the secret love child of Emma Frost and Scott Summers. When he was born, it wasn’t expected, and Emma didn’t want a scandal getting out, so she told Scott and she decided to leave him at an orphanage. Jack had always hated both of his parents for that, so he has trust issues and attachment issues. He also has depression & severe anxiety

one day Jack was in yet another foster home (he had been to multiple before that had all given him up because he was a mutant) and his foster dad had tried to shoot him, so he ran away into the woods, which, were apparently the woods that led to the X-mansion. Logan (Wolverine) found him and helped him. He took him to the mansion and he started school there and he also got into the X-men. Jack went on solo missions in secret while still attending school at Xavier’s. He called himself ‘Slicer’ and did vigilante work. After the krakoa arc and as he entered his early twenties, he had gained better control of his mutation, although it still caused him pain. His healing factor, which he developed through practicing, only lasted while he was stressed, and as soon as he relaxed the pain kicked in. He also began to come to terms with himself, realizing that, he didn’t want to be a woman anymore. (At the time he was cis) So, he tried to start on a better path. He didn’t want to suffer. But mutants, X-men, always suffer.

SUIT//

the slicer suit is a thick leather like suit that kinda looks like the 2000’s New X-men run suits. Black with the yellow stripes and X in the middle. Plus a semi-face mask.

Is this a good idea? No. Do they know it’s a bad idea? Yes.

But, well, now they had a lot of bottles of (low-quality) vodka in their room. And it needed to go somewhere. And they’re a little upset over everything, having dwelled in some memories for a bit too long. This would distract them, at least.

They forget how many bottles it’s been before they start feeling woozy. That’s… probably a good sign, right? They’ve never been drunk, so, they drink a bit more.

Jack leans in through the half open door, surprised to see Sol with a somewhat relaxed look on their face. Seeing the bottles of vodka, Jack, of course, took this the wrong way.

“is this how we’re celebrating trans visibility day now..?” He said with a half joking tone and an awkward smile.

Jack rode his skateboard through the streets, wearing his Dead Kennedys shirt, which was way too big on him, and some scuffed up blue jeans. He had his cassette tape of his pocket, with headphones on, listening to Siouxsie and the Banshees.

he was on the watch for trouble, like FoH, or anything like that. There had been lots of threats for minorities recently, and he fit right into that category. He stuffed his hands in his pockets and looked up, squinting as he sat a blur of red above him. He looked around himself, and came to a sense that something was off. He was in a sketchy looking scene, dark alleyways and all sorts of things, felt like Skid Row. He paused his music as he observed. There was a stench of cigars and smoke, which was always present in New York, but— this was different. Jack looked ahead of him and saw- spider webs?

Peter was hanging out, he'd made a new gadget that when motion sensored would shoot a web. It had taken him awhile to get his calculations right and now he was hanging, upside down as he rested. Look, running around to set a motion sensor off is HARD work okay?

"Hey!" Peter lowered himself behind the kid with the skateboard. "Nice ride!"

”uh- oh! Uhm.. thanks..” Jack said stiffly. He’d heard of- well, spider-man of course, but never really met him. I mean- he would see him at all the hellfire gala’s and sometimes at the X-mansion from time to time.

Jack winced as he said his last name. It left a bad taste in his mouth. He still hadn’t talked to his father.

Winter exits another underground HYDRA bunker. They’d been doing this same ritual for the past few weeks. Take down bases, kill Johann Schmidt, go home to recover, rinse and repeat.

It was satisfying. They could end up hurt. But their system was working. They wouldn’t dare try to return to their homeworld, or any other world where the organization had a Winter Solstice (they couldn’t chance the codewords) but it was nice.

So here they are, just outside of a HYDRA base. There’s blood on their uniform (they used their spear and swords more often, rather than just their staff) and their face, hair and tails. Which is frustrating. But they can clean it off when they get home and rest.

They continue to trot through the forest, batting away any bushes or branches in their way with their staff-spear. They get the sense that they’re being watched, followed.

When they hear some snapping of twigs they spin around, towards where they heard the noise coming from, pointing their staff towards it, spearhead extended. “Who’s there?” This would be really embarrassing if it was just a forest critter.

Jack unconsciously bit his lips while walking through the bitter cold forest. Logan had told him about this Weapon X like facility called HYDRA.. or something— he couldn’t exactly remember, all he was told is that they were testing and harming mutants. So, trekking forth and wishing he could listen to Elliott Smith, Jack went.

..until he heard a familiar voice. Sol? What were they doing here? I mean, he knew that they had unfinished business with HYDRA- but.. something didn’t feel right..

Jack crouched behind a tree and scouted out the area. He was hoping his yellow and black suit wouldn’t give him away for once..

“..Sol..?” He hesitantly called out into the brisk woods.

They turn towards the voice, eyes narrowing. Their fox-like ears pinning back against their head. Their tails curl upwards defensively. Sharp teeth are bared behind their mask. The spearhead is pointed directly at Jack.

This Sol certainly looks different than Jack’s. What with the five fox tails and the fox ears. Unless his Sol randomly transformed recently, one could tell this one is different. Plus the fact that they didn’t recognize their friend.

“How do you know my name?” They question, tone suspicious. They pivot to asking questions. “And why have you been following me? Are you with HYDRA? Who are you?”

Jacks eyes widened in realization. oh shit this is bad. This is reallly bad. He rose slowly from his crouched position, putting his hands in front of him, trying not to appear threatening. “Uhm- I’m Slicer. I’m not with hydra! No- no I’m uh actually here to stop them. Or just rescue some mutants and victims of course.”

Jack scanned over this variants details— or just tails, I guess. They definitely weren’t from this universe..

“you’re not uh.. from here- i’m guessing..? I’m friends with this universe’s Sol, that’s all.”
