Cupping the boy’s cheek, Dino replied back in a soft voice, “I care for you. No matter what, I do really care for you.”

The don knew full well Ace would never grow out of what he was. He would still be unstable, and have his moments, and the blonde knew that fully. He just wished that he could’ve met Ace a little earlier. Maybe he could’ve saved the boy? Well, no time for doubts and blaming. The damage is done, and there was nothing Dino could do about it. All he could do was just be there for Ace.

When Ace said he would try to learn, Dino’s smile got brighter. he hugged the younger male and chuckled, “We can take is slow, as slow as you want. I have to warn you though, you might have to shock me a couple times.” this was good. Dino was somewhat getting to Ace.

“Ace..” his grin softened, “I have a responsibility, and one that I really don’t want to give up on. I love my family, and I love you to. I’m sure you can try and share.”

It looked as thought the don had said something that triggered anger in Ace, because know Dino was worried, and Ace was hurt.

“N-No, Ace, I didn’t mean it like that,” he tried to reassure the boy. “I meant I don’t want to hold you back, it doesn’t mean I am..”

He was ready to be slapped. He closed his eyes and waited for it, but nothing happened. Opening his eyes, he sighed when the boy’s back was turned.

The wizard turned his head side to side trying and failing to evade the blond’s kisses “ Why would you want to be my gift, I still don’t understand how a person can be a gift “He always thought that people were possessions, he always had to force people to be his toy but…Dino isn’t his toy, or is he ? This questions still confused the wizard. Dino did many things that his toys didn’t do, for this wizard the blond was and wasn’t his toy it was something he will have to think and deiced on another day.

“ Love ? “ He tilt his head, love, something he did not understand. That word and feeling was something he never experience, sure he likes Dino a lot though he won’t admit it but love?, he’s not sure he would go that far but it isn’t something he won’t think about. 

“ Anything I want “ He narrowed his green eyes and smirked “ I want you to be more fucking careful and not get injured!! “ He snapped and crossed his arms.

His short flash of anger vanished when he heard the other. His face became so red that one cold almost see steam come out of his head “ I-um-Oh really-well! “ The boy began to stutter and move his hands in quick gestures, not really sure how to reply he looked down.

All he did was sigh. Hugging the boy tight, Dino breathed out, “You’ll learn soon enough, and even if you don’t, then that’s perfectly ok. Just being with you is enough for me, and if you really want to learn, then I’ll teach you, it’s all up to you.” Dino would love to teach Ace what it meant to have deep, affectionate feelings for someone. Maybe once Ace did learn love, he would see Dino, or another person. As long as Ace was happy, then that’s all that mattered to the don.

After Ace described what he wanted with such passion, Dino laughed and ruffled the wizard’s hair.

“I can only promise that to a certain extent..” Pointing towards his tattoo, the don explained, “Do you see this mark? This tattoo proves that I’m the leader of my family. This mark proves that I am liable for a lot of people. As long as I have this tattoo, I’m bound to whatever chains hold me. Even so, I do love my chains. There are times when I do want to break free, but I know staying tamed will help many people. However, as for you, you’re free to do as you please, don’t let me hold you back.”

Nothing could get rid of his short burst of sudden rage it was apart of him. Nothing could make it disappear not even love, maybe if he met Dino sooner he may have been able to change but it was too late. 

Not only that he was a bit uneasy with loving another person, he’s never done that before and he’s already became weak from the other caring for him, how weak would he become if it became love.

When Dino got a pancake thrown at him, the Don pouted. Grabbing whipped cream from his plate, he smeared it on the boy’s nose. Popping some whipped cream in his mouth, the Don moved towards Ace and locked their lips to together. Tasting Ace and the cream, Dino smirked as the kiss ended. Humming softly, he snickered in victory and placed the thrown pancake back on Ace’s plate.

The wizard used his hand to wipe his nose of the sweet cream,as he did this he tried to be careful to not let one drop of cream fall into his mouth.His steady cleaning was interrupted,when the blond kissed his lips.His green eyes widen in surprise before his shoulder slumped.After the sweet kiss,he leaned back in his chair,and for once didn’t look tense,he looked rather calmed.
