Can we talk about perception for a minute?? The first photo is how I’ve come to picture myself in my head. I usually look for filters to smooth over my makeup and get rid of my dark circles…but every filter makes my eyes bigger and my nose smaller. Now, when I take pictures without a filter I legit get frustrated that I don’t look like an irl Disney princess. There’s nothing wrong with how I look naturally. I’m actually lucky enough to like the face I was born with. But it still doesn’t look “right” to me when I take pictures like the other two I’ve posted. The second picture still has a filter on it. That’s usually the effect I’m going for. This just happened to be an option on Snapchat after I already took the picture. If I could, this is what I would regularly use….but it’s still not reality. The last picture doesn’t have a filter. I did touch up the lighting, but that’s my face as is today and every other day. I think I need to be spending more time with her. #reflection #perception #IShouldBeWorking https://www.instagram.com/p/COdarR9LDRWAOrDKg6QguUeIYZmFNQ3922Wjqg0/?igshid=12s2ef1e5rzpf
