this was supposed to post on the anniversary of joey's passing, except i forgot to finish it before then and didnt have a chance to edit it the way i wanted until now. genuinely one of my favorite slipknot related stories corey's ever told, and it's always interested me that this is one of his 'favorite memories'. i know it's far out from the anniversary, but rest in power to this absolute scamp of a guy 🫶 we miss you joey

Recently I found out about the existence of some Stone Sour (I guess???) interview from 2003 (I believe it was Gonzo, on MTV2), but I can't find any footage from it. As I know, there were Corey and Jim just... being Corey and Jim (with Corey practically lying on the other's chest while Jim also was petting Corey on his head). Really need to know where I can find this one piece. 😭😭😭😭😭

Can confirm it was Gonzo. Can confirm it was reeeeeeaaaally touchy feely. Can confirm it included Jim stating "He [Corey] never follows up on it though."

Right so i found them!

Given the quality and traces over on the sides, i'm pretty sure those are actually photos of an actual TV. Which makes some sort of sense.

I have a feeling this aired at a time recording TV wouldn't have been that easy... i'm thinking both because i don't think it would have aired more than a handful of times, and because it would have been recorded on a video recorder... but then how do you easily digitze it?
