Once Adora was a soldier for the evil Horde until she found the Sword of Protection and learned of the atrocities they committed. She defected and joined the Princess Alliance to help protect Etheria with her new friends. By transforming her powerful alter ego, She-Ra.

Since the Horde was defeated, things have calmed down and she reunited with her childhood-friend-turned-enemy-turned-girlfriend, Catra. It’s a peaceful time and she’s let herself go but she is always ready to wield her sword and fight off the forces of evil.

When she isn’t She-Ra, Adora is still quite nimble and athletic but has a small muffin top. Catra likes to joke that her butt has gotten bigger too. When she is She-Ra, Adora grows three feet taller and balloons in weight. The last time she weighed in, She-Ra weighed around 912 lbs. Her strength applies to her legs which allows her to remain mobile but she has trouble with cramped spaces. She’s self-conscious about it but at least her big belly is useful for bashing and absorbing damage.

“That’s what Mermista told me. I understand why Perfuma and her need the extra blubber but I think it’s just an excuse for the others to pig out more than usual.” Of course, Adora was enjoying some sugar cookies as she answered the question. Crumbs resting on her exposed belly.

I feel like Etheria needs a new holiday. A special day where we can all get together and be happy. Hm… I know! How about ‘Feed the Princesses Day’! A day where everyone in the kingdoms brings massive amounts of food to their respective Princess to stuff her silly and rub her belly! It serves the purpose of both bringing the community together and giving Princesses a chance to interact with their subjects. What do you think Glimmer?

“As tempting as that sounds, that would be a gross abuse of power. Plus, there’s no way I could stomach that much food in day,” Glimmer answered.

“I concur,” added Perfuma. “We are public servants meant to better our kingdoms. What kind of princess would force her subjects to do such a thing?”

“What do you mean they can’t make that much food in a week?” Whined Mermista. “Ugh, fine. I’ll give them a month.”

“What? Thats ridiculous,” Glimmer remarked. “Who would believe something like that?”

“Maybe two lovesick, gullible idiots from the Fright Zone?” Mermista suggested.

“Take it back! Take it back right now!” Catra squealed, her ears still ringing as she clung to her one-ton girlfriend.

“It was an accident!” Adora shouted, her cheeks flushed as she tried to stifle another burp.

Perfuma smiled to herself as she finished getting everything prepared. Oh this was going to be so fun being with the gals and helping them improve themselves! She never liked to be rude, but it was clear that everyone was putting on a bit of weight and ignoring their basic hygiene....some more than others. The flowery girl was one such person as well, however she was fortunate enough to be on the thinner side of things. A floral aroma also covered up any foul odors that might come off of her. It was perhaps due to this that she didn't understand just how bad she herself had gotten. Still, while she was a little ignorant, she had good intentions. After fumbling with a communicator for a bit, she called the only person that she knew could help. The jolly druidic woman hummed to herself as she waited for Adora to pick up the phone, her doughy hips swaying side to side as she did so.

At that moment, Adora was toweling herself off after a tiresome workout with her girlfriend, Catra. Though the war was over and replaced with peace and prosperity, Adora still liked to remain active and not let her combat skills get rusty. As she dried off, Adora noticed how curvier she'd grown. It was bad enough when Catra squeezed her muffin top to get a rise out of her but it was getting harder to ignore. Her thoughts were interrupted by her communicator ringing by her bedside. She wrapped the towel around herself and answered the call. Smiling when she saw it was Perfuma on the other side. "Perfuma, hey! What's up? Is everything alright?" The communicators were meant to keep the princesses in touch in case of an emergency but more often than not, they were used to check on each other and fraternize.

Perfuma gave a smile as she got through to Adora. She knew the hero would sometimes be busy with her feline companion, so she would have hated to call in the middle of one such moments. It always felt like she was intruding! “Ah! Adora, wonderful to see that you’re available! Everything is alright here but well…I have been thinking about something, and I thought it best to run it by you.”

She squared away her shoulders, hoping her pitch would be delivered well. “I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but ever since things have calmed down, everyone has been enjoying the fruits of our labor…perhaps a bit too much!” She gave a good natured giggle, bringing a hand up to her hair and twirling it. “I’m not sure if you’ve noticed if you e seen Glimmer, but it’s really evident with her!”

“So, I was thinking of holing a health retreat and inviting everyone! That way we can shed some pounds, bathe in aromatic waters and well, have a lovely time all around!” She sounded so excited as she got to the point of it all. “The only problem is, I’m….not very good at discipline or regimented work outs. I figured you could help me out in that respect! Take charge and help me with this!”

Adora sat down and listened to Perfuma's proposal. Brushing her hair and tying it into her signature ponytail. Guilt pinched her pudgy sides when Perfuma addressed the elephant in the room. Adora's hips have widened since she brought peace to the world and her middle had softened. Though it was nothing compared to the growth Glimmer experienced. Bow and Adora had carefully danced around the topic to avoid hurting Glimmer's feelings. Catra wasn't afraid to be brutally honest but Glimmer didn't take her jabs seriously. Not when Catra was also getting chunky. They couldn't ignore it forever. At this rate, she'd be too big for her throne. The concept of a health retreat resonated with Adora. It was just the thing they needed. "I'd be happy to! I can whip up a workout regiment in a few days." There was a snag in their plan that threatened to unravel everything. One that would not be easy to address. "I'm not sure how we'll get the others on board."

Perfuma had to admit that was a good point. It was partially also the reason she’d called Adora, figuring the hero would have more sway over the others. Though if even she was having trouble thinking of a way to get the others to come along, then it seemed other measures were needed. “We could…fib? Just a little! We could say that we want to gather everyone up for a simple retreat at a spa! Talk up the relaxing parts of and perhaps emphasize the whole ‘buffet’ aspect to Glimmer and Catra!”

It did feel a bit bad to be less than honest with the others, but it would be worth it in the long run! Besides, they would be at a spa and enjoy the healthy treatments there, so it wasn’t all a lie. “Mermista might still show up late, but I think it’s an easy way to get the others on board!”

It wouldn't be the first time Adora had to fudge the truth to get Catra to comply. And a buffet did sound nice. "Maybe I can convince Bow to help with that. They're going to be upset when they learn the truth though. We should make sure to have a buffet for real. That should make it easier to get them on board." Adora wasn't sure how they'd convince Mermista to come but getting her to stay would be even trickier.

Adora was out in the field swinging her sword when the spell was cast. She was so focused on her footing she failed to notice her stomach swelling and her rear end ballooning. It wasn’t until she stopped to catch her breath that she realized something was amiss. She was sweating harder than usual and her arm looked doughier.

She finally caught on when her pants ripped and she saw her belly sticking out. She dropped her sword and stumbled back at the shocking sight. The extra cushion in her keister softened her fall but now she was forced to watch her belly inch over her knees and her bust stretch the limits of her top.

“Ca…Catra! Bow! Glimmer! Anyone!” Having her friends see her like this was humiliating but Adora was in over her head. If Bright Moon was under attack, the others had to know.

Fortunately, Catra happened to be passing by a window while helping herself to some treats she was supposed to be sharing. It was there she caught a glimpse of her growing girlfriend. The platter fell from her hands and she immediately hollered for the guards. All the while Adora rested on her rising rotund rump and extra chins folded around her neck.

“That’s nice to hear Glimmer, because I have a favor to ask that involves you and your waistline. I’ve recently baked a whole bunch of treats for this community get together that happened last weekend. Problem is I made way too much and now I have more leftovers than I know what to do with. I don’t want to throw them all away so I was hoping that you could eat them all since you don’t mind packing on a few more pounds.”

“I…I suppose it would be a shame to let all that food go to waste.” Glimmer sampled one of the treats and her eyes shimmered. “I guess I could take care of these for you. But I doubt I can finish this all by myself. Hey Catra!”

“What’s up, sparkle butt?” Catra called, entering from the hallway.

Glimmer stuffed more of the treats in her mouth and wiped the crumbs off of her belly. “Can you take these treats and share them with Adora and Bow?”

“Why of course, your highness,” Catra grinned.

Glimmer scooped some of the food and placed them on her gut to snack on throughout the day. Right as Catra was about to abscond with the scones, Glimmer added, “You are going to share them, right?”

“Sorry, can’t hear you.” Catra was already munching on the goodies. “Too far awaaaaaaay.”

“Princess Glimmer, are you at all concerned about the skyrocketing obesity rates among Etherias princesses? Additionally, what are your thoughts on possibly becoming even fatter?”

“Skyrocketing? That’s a bit of an exaggeration, don’t you think?” Glimmer sat on her throne and continued her answer while snacking on tarts. “I mean, sure. Entrapta is still an immobile blob and as big as a village. And Mermista has gotten larger since I last spoke with her but it’s not like we’re all growing out of control.”

Glimmer finished the plate of tarts and pondered that last question. “Do you mean do I want to get fatter or will I get fatter? There was a time where my mom made me feel like fat was a bad thing but Bow and Adora have been so supportive that I’m not sure I would mind. Not that I would want to outgrow the castle or anything. So, I guess I wouldn’t mind being a bit bigger but not insanely huge.”
