Having say yes thoughts and I just love the idea of Chuckwill having candid photos of them at their courthouse wedding. Photos that are accidentally beautiful taken by Sean or Billy or someone with a film camera lying around. They’re blurry and unprofessional and some of the film is just plain unusable but they really capture the love between them. Photos of them saying their vows, photos of them kissing, photos of them crying, photos of them laughing and smiling so big cause this is their big day and it’s just for them. Photos of them walking out of the courthouse hand in hand. Photos of them dancing in L. Street when they think no one’s watching. Photos that capture just how in love they really are.

okay well first of all slowmo you have plenty of skill so don’t even start with that… your chuckwill art is so beautiful <3 but yeahhhhhh candid photos is a genius idea… nice semi-professional-looking ones taken by Sean slightly crooked ones taken by Billy diaphanous blurs of color and light taken by Morgan six beers in… and younger chuckwill fooling around with a camera trying to capture the sun on each others faces trying to preserve the sound of laughter and the heady rush of love love love…. SUCH a brilliant idea and one or both of us should definitely do smth with it <3

You flatter me snail, thank you so so much🙏 AND ABSOLUTELY. I love the idea of everyone having their own signature way of shooting, so much so when chuckwill is going through everything after the wedding they can identify exactly who’s photo is who’s. Sean isn’t terrible with a camera and I can imagine chuckwill going to Sean for anniversary photos or family photos during the holidays (especially after Dorothea hounds them about not having enough family photos hanging on the walls). And I love younger chuckwill taking turns on a camera, each trying to outdo eachother, not knowing the first thing about photography but going with the flow and snapping anything and everything. Once Will leaves for California those once silly photos become important keepsakes for Chuckie. Novelty itemsonly he has access to. Moments frozen in time, moments with Will. Will smiling, laughing, flicking him off, taking a drag from his cig. Moments shared by the both of them that don’t belong to anyone else. Moments that Chuckie worries he’ll never experience again. And little does he know that Wills in the same boat. He has fewer photos which just means that his are a lot more worn out. He reminisces to cope with everything happening in Cali and everything he’s missing in Boston. He hides his photos of chuckie the glove compartment of his car and whenever he’s feeling particularly nostalgic, he’ll sit in the drivers seat and smoke a whole pack of camels while reliving each photo. Just to feel something. Even after will comes to his senses and they finally make it officially, they both hold onto those photos. And of course they take many more.
