K idk if you’ve seen Detective Pikachu yet but this shouldn’t be a spoiler anyway. So in Kim’s room, there’s a Sinnoh league poster that triggers a flashback AND the big ol city is celebrating its 10th... something... I don’t remember lol. Pokémon’s 10th anniversary was during gen 4. Catch my drift? Its a stretch but I’m overly hyped now sksksk

I have seen it and I know exactly what you’re talking about and that’s a good point I didn’t even think of that !! :O There were many references to Sinnoh in the movie, so I’m hyped too!! My friend came up with a theory that rhyme city is right next to Sinnoh and in the remakes we’ll get to go there!! Wouldn’t that be cool?? I also thought that the movie was going to tie to looker somehow which = Sinnoh lmao ((not a spoiler-don’t worry all who haven’t seen it!!)) anyway I love Sinnoh and am very hyped for remakes, thank you for coming to my ted talk!!!!!

I Love this theory and I hope it’s true buuuuut it gave me another idea which I don’t like as much

So we all saw the sinnoh reference in the detective pikachu film but detective pikachu is in a way it’s own continuity.

They just announced with the press conference a new detective pikachu game that will tell us what happens after the movie. Perhaps this game will be based in Sinnoh. It would be cool (because the region is cool) but not what I want. I have no interest in the detective pikachu franchise and if they give us “Sinnoh remakes” in this form just to shut us up I’m going to cry.

But this post made me think about it and it is a plausible possibility

Nnnnnno that’s not it. It’s not a continuation of the movie. Detective Pikachu was a game before the movie existed, that’s what they based it off of. The thing they announced is the sequel to that, I’m pretty sure

They said they wanted to base the new game on the plot points that weren’t resolved in the movie. And apparently (because I haven’t played the game) the movie’s plot is the exact same as the first detective pikachu game so yes that’s a sequel to the game (and also the movie since they’re basically the same apparently). So it really doen’t make any difference to say it’s a sequel to the movie specifically, or a sequel to the game specifically in my opinion.

Anyways they explicitly said they wanted to resolve the plot holes of the movie/first game with this “sequel” soooo...

It doesn’t change the theory that the detective Pikachu Universe is close to Sinnoh and it is a possibility that they might use it for this upcoming game. Which I hope won’t be a poor excuse for the Sinnoh remake we’re all waiting for.

I’m sorry perhaps I didn’t make myself clear enough in my first reblog. English is not my first language and I know I can’t always express my thoughts as well as I want to.

Faerie Sight

How to see faeries:

Wearing one’s coat inside out.

Wearing a posy of primroses.

A four leaf clover crushed and put into an ointment may give one sight of the Faeries as well as placing Faerie Ointment on the eyelids.

Bending over and looking backwards through your legs.

Looking through a Fir knot hole.

Looking through a loop made with a Rowan twig may cause Faerie sight.

Looking through a hag stone. 

Meditating on a daily basis.

Averting one’s vision.

Dawn, moon, dusk, and midnight are the best times for faerie sightings.

Believe - faeries will most likely not show themselves to non-believers.

Have good intention - faeries can sense it.

Looking for a long time without blinking.
