We’re human beings, we have feelings, we have the right to defend ourselves, grieve our friends, share our opinions all of that is true. But the best thing ive learned to do during hard times is to be the bigger person, move forward and if you feel the need to defend yourself, do so with grace and eloquence. Death threats, hate messages, blame, none of that will ever make a situation better. By participating in negativity you are no better than the people you claim to be mad at. the world is already a scary, cruel place, we shouldn’t be bringing all of that negativity to a platform that many like myself use as an escape, an outlet.
Take this post for what it is, just an opinion from a girl who is so tired of seeing people be cruel. just an opinion from a girl who hopes to encourage others to be kind. i’m fully aware that when we’re hurting, we say and do things driven from dark emotions but remember that we are all people behind our screens. we all have feelings, real lives, and our own problems to deal with. you never ever know what someone is truly going through. the best way to avenge, mourn, grieve, defend yourself and others is so do your best to live the best of YOUR life. Not bring someone else down. If you have nothing nice to say, say nothing at all.
