i really didn’t want to have to do this, but for some reason tags on this blog are just not working??? i don’t know why they won’t show up on the blog. it makes tagging super difficult because HELLO i rely on the tagging system.

open: m/f/nb plot: kind of like a futuristic apocalyptic era because he’s kind of part cyborg. our muses haven’t seen each other in nearly ten years, since before the zombie out break, when they were really young. they could have been best friends, exes, enemies, but now they have to survive together because what’s that? a truck full of scavengers are hunting them down for their materials. 

as talon cut the corner of a street the sound of an engine causes him to hide in the nearest abandoned building. talon treaded carefully through the worn down building, unsure of where the next thread could be lurking. that was until something dashed across his vision. he drew his specially designed bow and arrow and aimed it in the direction of branch crunching. as much as he’d want to ask who was there, he didn’t want to risk exposing himself. talon took careful steps until the threat exposed themselves to be none other than a familiar face. he squinted through the semi-darkness to get a better look.

maleah had been on her own for the past two weeks now, her group had been attacked, causing them all to split up and survive on their own. she’s done a pretty good job at keeping herself hidden away from scavengers and other things that lurk about, only having to fight when it’s truly necessary, until now of course. someone had been able to spot and follow her. with her krakens in either hand, maleah’s ready to fight until she sees a very familiar face. her frown deepens while so many memories flutter back in, there’s lots of people from her life before this that she thought would be gone by now, never to be seen again. and here she is being proven that some are actually still around. “i suggest not wasting one of those things on me. there’s better things to kill those with.”

oh she liked being carried and she liked all these kisses she was getting. talon was making maleah’s stomach do flips just like he did the moment they started getting to know one another better. she thought that maybe this feeling would die off, leaving her to become just used to all of this between them, but she doesn’t think she’ll ever get to that point. he drives her crazy in a good way. she happily kisses him back over and over again, sighing against his lips when she feels goosebumps starting to rise up on the tops of her arms.“you know food is the last thing that’s on my mind right now...” she giggles, her forehead presses against his to give her some time to try and gather her thoughts. thinking was hard when she’s a puddle of mush in talon’s palm. “plus i ate a bunch of food from the snack table they had there today. did you see the fruit platter? it was amazing.”
