Her legs swinging as she sat on her countertop, there was no hiding just how pleased she was. To see him, of course and to have him be so heart stoppingly adorable. Honestly, she felt positively giddy. Thank the gods her staff and no customers were around- they would never let her hear the end of this. It was ridiculous, really. With a knowing smile, she gently pulled him between her legs by the strings of his hoody- her eyes bright.
“24 hours is a very long time, I know I haven’t stopped thinking about you and kissing you again for a single moment.”
Almost at his his eye level, she released one of his strings to gently turn his face towards her.
“I am better, now that you are here but everything would be perfect if I could have another kiss and your company for lunch.”
An easy smile settles on his lips as she pulls him forward. Blush still prominent across his cheeks, both of his hands come to rest on her legs as he steps closer. “I... haven’t stopped thinking about you either,” he admits. Had it only been 24 hours? It really had felt so much longer. Then again, when it comes to Sakura, Atticus often feels himself reverting back to his teenage self―infatuation overwhelming his thoughts. “Well, if you’re available... It’s funny. I was going to say that a kiss and lunch with you would make my day better.”
He tilts his head to the side, smile softening, finding comfort in her touch. Without thinking about it, he brings one hand up to push a strand of hair behind her ear, and then his eyes are focused back on her. An unspoken question sits in the air between them and is intensified as his eyes flit to her lips. “Can I?” He asks, voice but a whisper as he gently runs his thumb against her cheek.
