After a few laps, Blair hovers a few feet over the field when she calls to the other occupant, âMind letting loose a bludger? I have the sudden need to bash something in.â
Idiocy would taint him had he assumed he wouldnât have to spar coordinate practice with her. The Quidditch Pitch was large to an extent. Not early enough to create a rift in plays, however. It wasnât in the nature of the sport to cultivate individual performance.
Heâd do it, though he didnât promise it wouldnât end up tailing her broom.
He slung the ball upwards. Before the bludger stalled at its peak, Jaebum roved the air, building a momentum capable of supplying his broomstick with adequate strength to send it on a swift path to the badger.
He hoped he hadnât hit it too hard.
It was a given on the occasion of Slytherin practices to treat every spar as a game. There was no time to do otherwise, unless it was a Yixing-lead practice. Not that one was stricter than the other, however. It was admittedly a fact that Jaebum was more serious when a match lined up.
Quidditch seemed so important at one point that perhaps it mightâve suited him better than Auror work. Though he rather his head remained a part of his body if he could help it.
