What's a hatstall?:)

A hatstall is when the Sorting Hat is stuck between putting the sortee in to two different houses. Such as when Harry Potter was being sorted, and the Sorting Hat what thinking about putting him in Slytherin or Gryffindor. 

On Pottermore, you can choose which house you feel you belong in more.

I'd like to know how many, if any, people have gotten a hatstall between Hufflepuff and Slytherin. I've heard that it is an uncommon occurrence.

I don’t recall hearing about it the occurrence, but it probably does occur I wouldn’t be too surprise as rare as it maybe.
