hihi!!! I’ve missed you <33 I’m glad you’re popping back in 🥹🥹 I’ve been doing pretty good, currently on a volunteer shift that is pretty quiet and boring, but I’ve been playing scrabble on my phone to pass the time

I heard the news earlier and it’s so fucking unfair :( the amount of idols being kicked out of their groups or parting ways for other reasons this year is just insane. I’m only into xdh casually but what are they expecting by kicking out their leader and drummer?????? They make ROCK music 😭😭😭 I’m like what is this stupidity ?? Are they gonna get a replacement or just a random backup drummer for performances???

and the members must feel awful during all this ☹️☹️ that’s their leader :(( it’s so so frustrating how idols basically have no way to defend themselves against sasaengs or invasion of privacy because every single thing they do is analyzed and scrutinized and judged to hell by netizens. or even things that should have been private and REMAIN private aren’t because they are in the public eye. literally just one step out of the perfect idol image, and suddenly they can no longer be in their groups it’s just so horrible.

I support you in the arson honestly with got7 being one of the only (past) jyp groups I was into (along with day6 and xdh) they GOTTA GO.

I already have so many thoughts….. like baekho is the perfect son in law type of boyfriend. Your family would instantly love him the first time they meet him and it’s the same with his family (and family would be very important to him). cooking, polite and good around elders, always helping out (and strong muscles 🤤) like he’d be instantly beloved 🥹

What is verivery's lore? And if kangmin left verivery to be in ald1 would you have been sad?

so I def forget some of the lore, but verivery’s storyline involves evil dopplegangers of the members who constantly spy on them (and kidnap/replace Kangmin in multiple mvs), and try to kill them/torture them in many ways (for example in trigger mv, gyehyeon’s doppleganger tries to drown him, while yeonho’s electrocutes him in a chair, etc)

there’s also a sick dance battle in the lay back mv between real verivery and their dopplegangers (and in order to film this for the mv, verivery learned the choreography mirrored as well as the original which is hella impressive!!)

yes I would’ve 100% been sad if Kangmin had debuted in ald1, but ofc I would have fully supported him in the group. I would’ve been even sadder if the group disbanded or them going on b2p hadn’t brought them the second chance at performing they had wanted. in my opinion what ended up happening was my best case scenario; Kangmin was able to stay with verivery, and they also got a boost in popularity after the survival show

when you heard a knock at your door, you got up hurriedly. the clock struck almost midnight and you knew that the only thing at this hour your boyfriend needed were cuddles.

when you opened the door, you pouted.

ryo's eyes were almost fighting sleep, head bobbing down.

so you manoeuvred his way back inside, hooking his bag with your foot. glued to you like a coala, ryo didn't let go for a split second though you slowly felt his grip loosen. when you raised your hand to lock the door, his head rolled on your arm. his weight bagan to send an ache in your lower back, making you realize you have been arching to keep him on his feet.

you led him to your bedroom and gently guided him onto your bed.

"pyja—" you started but ryo wrapped his hands around your neck.

"mmpfh. night night" he hummed and you just smiled. nuzzling himself into you once again, inhaling your scent, lying on a comfortable bed… ryo was out like a baby.

"my adorable cuddlebug" you giggled quietly, caressing his hair.

How did verivery became one of your ults?

hmmm I got into them in january of 2023. I was watching mvs with one of my friends and she told me to put on their undercover mv. I’m ngl it was very much love at first sight with the blue haired one (who was gyehyeon).

their song o really solidified them as a group I was really interested in stanning because that song is so good. from there other songs like heart attack, trigger, get away, and the bsides on their series o round 3 whole album were just rly my vibe and I loved everything I was listening to. discography is really the most important thing for me when it comes to my ults, and verivery just has an amazing no skip one imo 🥹

you can’t mention verivery without mentioning their dancing. they are the most synchronized 4th gen boy group, and I believe they’re also the second most synchronized boy group after seventeen. their dancing is incredible and there’s not one weak dancer when it comes to the group. their teamwork is really admirable too

another thing that I think definitely factored into them becoming ults is their variety show belbel land/verivery land. now I have always struggled to watch kpop groups variety shows. for some reason they always seemed to bore me and I would feel intimidated when I saw 80 episodes that I needed to watch. even with txt’s to do or going seventeen, I’ve only watched a few episodes of each tbh. I’ve always preferred watching lives or vlogs or behind the scenes to variety shows which I know sounds a bit weird that lives would be more entertaining than a variety show, but it’s just what I like I suppose lol.

anyway all that is to say this is not the case with verivery and belbel land (specifically season 1). I have watched every single ep of belbel land and I’ve even REWATCHED every single ep. now what makes verivery’s variety show 100 times better than other groups for me? the editing. for season one, their editor was just popping off it’s so funny every episode. I’ve seen kinda similar funny editing with p1harmony or ampers&one variety content but nothing for a whole season of a variety show the way verivery did. with how much I enjoyed watching their content, especially variety stuff that I usually struggle to find interest in, I knew they were ults

there’s probably some other smaller factors that I didn’t bother to mention as much in detail like the fact that gyehyeon is probably my favourite idol of all time (fighting constantly for the spot with txt taehyun and onf yuto, but he wins at times), I really like their concept and their storyline/lore (from what I can remember/understand of it lol), and I really think they deserve to be more popular and receive more love than they have :(
