We’re a few days away from the premiere of Motherland: Fort Salem Season 2 and I find myself at a loss for words. I can’t believe how far we’ve come this last year. How much this show and fandom has changed my life for the better. The RI started as a small handful of people and has grown to an international community and I have no words to describe it. Just… thank you to everyone who has made this fandom great.
On a personal note, hope I can be as involved in theorizing and analyzing about this season as much as I was able to for the last. But, honestly, I won’t be. My wife and I are expecting our first child in August and I am so excited and terrified for this new adventure. I’ll still be here. I’ll still tear the details of this show apart when I can. I very much look forward to reading everyone’s thoughts and theories and the doors of the RI Discord are always open. But my priorities will be family first and foremost. Baby Frost isn’t even here yet and they already have my heart.
So, I wish everyone a very happy and adventurous Season 2, in whatever capacity you’re able to consume it. And remember, this is a journey. This story is on going. Things won’t happen exactly the way you want them to - they never do in television. But that’s OKAY. We are here to enjoy the story and the ups and downs along the way. Just remember to be kind and listen to one another. Put aside our differences and keep an open mind and heart. We’re all here because we love this show and the intricate details the crew and cast put into it to make it great. It would not be great if things were not developed properly overtime. Be patient. Learn from one another. Love each other. Let’s go on this adventure together.
