It’s crazy how things people say stick with us and affect us, good or bad. When I was 11/12 my aunty told me I had perfect brows so throughout my teenage years I never touched them.

Then when I was about 19 that same aunty said my brows were ugly and ever since, I’ve brushed and gelled my brows perfectly into place every day, and I don’t think I’ll stop obsessing over them any time soon.

THIS. Putting this here because I have to try to remember this! I am such a control freak, a why? person. I always want to know why and how things are happening, why people do the things they do, why aren’t I better? How can I be better?

Sometimes it’s better to just let things be and not try to understand them, for your own mental health. Que sera, sera.

My goal for the rest of the year is to save £400 a month. I know that’s not possible for everyone. I’m lucky in the sense that I live with my partner and have two jobs. That being said, here are some tips to help you save, whatever your financial goals are.

• Don’t use Buy Now Pay Later (unless you absolutely have to for essentials)

• Stick to the budget

• Limit eating takeaway (my goal is 1-2 times a month)

• Plan your meals

• Pack work lunches instead of buying lunch every day

• Do savings challenges (the 52 week challenge is great but there are lots more!)

• Read Kindle/library books instead of buying more books

• Set up a monthly direct debit to your savings account (or for whenever you get paid)

• Use vouchers and discounts wherever possible (install Honey, and if you’re a student make sure to search for student discounts whenever you purchase something)

I just recently watched this and omg…The things it made me feel…Very rarely do I find a show or book that has me thinking about it for days after I finish it, but this one has my heart atm. The tragic backstories, the parallels, the storytelling…I’m in love and heartbroken all at once 💔 I can’t wait for S2 to come out, may have to read the manga instead bc idk if I can wait til 2025!!
