Not me crying on the subway because I got up at 5am to feed my baby bats, then pulled a 10 hour shift at the bat station, haven’t eaten thing. Just to head home and take care of bats again and the dogs and my mom who has just had surgery. While the subways aren’t running so I have to transfer 3 times and my favorite person telling me „we need to talk“. To be fair, I’d break up with me too.

I’m literally shaking from exhaustion. Can’t wait to get another 4-5 hours of sleep tonight just to pull a shift at the owl and raptor station tomorrow. Mind you I have to take my baby bats everywhere.

I know I chose all of this but I’m a workaholic and a person that can’t look away if animals are in need.

If you find any injured or orphaned animals rn, just know that the staff taking care of them are killing themselves for the wellbeing of these animals right now. Summer is a brutal time and we all don’t sleep or eat or shower (yes I’m serious)

Wildlife rehab in summer is crazy. Sleeping 4-5 hours and constantly on the go. 10pm vet visits, 7am bird pick ups, constant calls. Severely injured animals.

It’s fucking hard to study for an exam if you haven’t really eaten in days, your stomach is turning inside out, you feel like throwing up all day, it is crazy hot and you lost so much time due to bat baby season and chores.

Now I only have 1 day left to study for 2 exams that I know nothing about.

I‘d have two more the week after but I just can’t do it. I’m literally at a breaking point.
