Hey, everyone have their own experiences and examples. You see that as pedophilia because you have a bad experience and is a CSA survivor. Iāve had my own experiences and examples. I have my parents as an example, I also have had a brief relationship with someone who was 10 years older than me when I was 17 and my older sister is dating a woman whoās twice her age. None of those examples were negative for the people involved and Iāve seen plenty of abusive relationships happening between people who are the same age. Bad and good examples exist everywhere of relationships with age gaps or without it.
Yes, I agree that pedophilia is an awful crime against humanity, and one of the worst atrocities someone can commit against a human being. Iām from a third world country where you see this shit happen in broad day light, children being commercialized for sex is a real terrifying issue in here. My college thesis even talks about that as well as other kinds of sexual exploitation of poorer people from third world countries. Again, everyone have their on experiences with that. For me. a 2 year and 3 months age gap is insignificant. For you it is significant because you see Giorno being younger mentally than Mista and thus label Mista as someone who could be abusive towards Giorno if in a relationship with him because of that.
I personally donāt see it like that, because none of them puts the other down thanks to the age gap and thereās no grooming coming from Mista in the canon material. They are all criminal and equals at that, fighting for a common goal and trying to survive through their hardships. If you donāt see them as romantic, just see them as friends, thats completely fine. But saying that a relationship between them, no matter what nature this relationship might have, is abusive because of the age gap, is just ignoring the characters and how their relationship builds up and changes them as people. Also, they are fictional characters who have importance to each other. Everyone from Buccellattiās gang have importance to each other ( the only gang member who underestimates Giorno thanks to his age is Narancia, who constantly uses this excuse to place himself above Giorno. Not Mista. Mista never places Giorno beneath him, different from most of the others members in the gang ).Ā

Donāt go around accusing someone of liking an awful vile shit like pedophilia for enjoying a fictional pairing based on what you find comfortable of not. What you should do is avoid it if you donāt want to see and live your merry life like that.
