Just a good 'ol classic squig.

Just realized this is my first time painting a plaguebearer, also still messing around with the airbrush trying to get better with it so I decided to try and airbrush the toxic ooze on the base.

Didnt think I'd find a Communicant Anti-Tank Hunter on Aliexpress of all places but for 6 euro it got me to paint my first TC mini so I cant complain!

I got my hands on a cheap airbrush via Aliexpress and decided to test it out by trying to glaze the colors on the cloak, I did have to resort to the brush for the smaller details but fair enough its a cheap airbrush after all, despite that I had a good time using it! I am absolutely gonna use it for more future projects.

So after a nearly 1 and a half year long break from painting minis I figured it was best to first finish up the remainder on the cairn wraith despite still being a tad rusty, hence why I decided to also keep the base simple.

For now I am gonna focus practicing painting on random loose old bits, once I am warmed up again and a little less rusty I will be tackling more models in the nearby future!

Picked up a Cairn Wraith and made a little start on him.

Also trying to create this ethereal glow going from bright to dark in his cloak, challenging for sure but its a relaxing progress at least!

Two 👻's for the price of one.

Managed to do both of these spooky boys today, did one in a complete grimdark style while the other one kept his more ethereal colors bright alongside the grimy cloak.

Was a fun little project.

Now to put this git in his place.

Picked up one of the older projects again, going to paint up the cordyceps themed squig hopper. Made a small start on the inside of the mouth and did the face.

Onto the rest!

Got my hands on another lovely Warp Miniatures sculpt and made a decent start to him, this time the Deep Sea King from the fishmen horde.
