i had meant to be productive today, but honestly, i just spent the day being lazy af and watching movies / the bold type, but tomorrow i’ll be home alone and i stocked up on caffeine, so i’ll be around...but i’m going to take advantage of the sleepiness.

Look, there’s nothing more depressing than making a starter, big or small, and having no one reply to it. It just sits there, empty, unused, unloved. If it happens enough the role player will stop posting open starters all together, defaulting instead to people who they know will answer them for sure. Or in some extreme cases leave the community. 

Open starters are open for a reason. Any one of my followers can answer them hours, days, weeks, heck even months after they’ve been posted. That’s why they’re tagged open.

So please, if you ever, ever, see a starter post tagged open that looks interesting to you RESPOND TO IT! 

You’re not going to annoy me, in fact you will make my day. You’re not going to see it but I’m probably going to do a little happy dance in my seat, or grin like an idiot, or make high pitched squeaky noises, or all of the above, because you, yes you, responded to the starter I posted.

open to any gender.  plot: snowed in at work; my character is dealing with a very upset significant other that he had to cancel on. possible connections: co-workers that can’t stand each other, exes, etc. VERY open to interpretation. 

“I know, babe and I promise make it up to you,” Marcos insisted, the frustration clear in his expression as he flopped down onto the sofa in the lobby, staring helplessly out the window at the snow. “But this is out of my h-” sighing heavily as he dropped the phone onto his lap as the woman on the other line hung up. “Hands,” he finally finished off in defeat.

 CAROLINE FELT THE OTHER’S GAZE plastered on her as she danced with the stranger. It was safe to say it only encouraged her to play up the flirtation, despite having a severe lack of interest. All he seemed to want to talk about, after all was what kind of cars he owned. “It really goes that fast?” Caroline forced out, feigning  interest, finger tips dancing down to his collar and playing with the first button. “Perhaps you ought to show me just how fast, hm?” She challenged.

And before she knew it, the male was taking her arm with a nod, leading her out the door of the ballroom. But not before Caroline had a chance to give him a sweet, long kiss on the middle of the dance floor, purposely playing up the act of seduction in the process.

The last three days have had me working non-stop and exhausted, I LOVE and ADORE my job and wouldn’t change it for the world, but it’s definitely something that drains me. I’m going to be getting on today. I’d love to get some more threads and plots going on this blog, though!
