Not sure if requests are still open but I'll try my luck anyways <3
May I please request some headcanons with Jax and Raggie (( separately )) and a relatively new circus member who they've recently grown closer to / become friends with (( maybe even have a little crush on--)) eventually being honest with them abt having a really hard time due to the fact they already dealt with a list of mental issues back home and being unmedicated being forced to be in such a sensory overloading environment is like there "playing the "don't abstract" game on hard mode" 💀 I'm looking for a sort of hurt / comfort / sick Fic scenario ?? ?? With loads of fluff !! !! >:3 maybe they both get really protective of reader! After they tell them that--
Anyways hope to hear back soon toodles !! !! <3
YESSSS OMG WAIT THIS IS FUN!!! I hope you enjoy these headcannons, my lovely cattywampus cucumbers! ♡♡♡♡
[I apologize for not posting this sooner and not adding Ragatha to this, I lost motivation while I was working on this and need to post the already completed part :( )

Jax x Reader (fluffy angst fic + headcannons)
• Despite being an absolute asswipe, you somehow befriended the odd, lanky, sadistic rabbit. You don't know how you did it, but you and Jax had become rather close (if you can ignore the many times where he's pretended not to care about your friendship)
• At the thought of your friendship possibly being more than just friendliness, Jax often acts as though he's disgusted by the sheer thought, shrugging it off like a minor inconvenience or a joke.
• Realizing he's fallen for someone who's more likely to abstract and leave him like the others keeps him up at night and makes him restless, though he refuses to show it at all
<<short fic, the setting is the digital lake and you two are stargazing if you couldn't tell>>
The digital lake was quieter than usual tonight. Not silent, no, nothing in the circus ever really was. But it seemed to be more silent than you'd expect, if you could ignore the obnoxious artificial sounds in the background, that is.
The water glowed faintly beneath the digital stars overhead, reflecting soft blues and purples that shifted every few seconds and reflected off the waves of the fresh, lapping water. The palm trees far from the shore swayed despite the lack of wind, and somewhere far off, something in the distance made a distorted whale noise that absolutely did not belong to a whale. You sat beside Jax on the sand, legs stretched out far enough for your toes to be dipped in the digital water. For once, he wasn’t talking very much, nor was he running his mouth to bug you purposely. That alone should’ve been your first sign that he was starting to catch feels for you, something he wasn't exactly in terms with.
"You’re being weirdly normal tonight," he finally said, leaning back on his hands.
"...Don’t let it get to your head." He quickly added after his first retort.
You snorted softly. "And here I thought we were finally bonding.."
"That's a disgusting accusation." Still, he didn’t move away. The stars above flickered strangely, five briefly forming a smiley face before correcting itself. Typical circus nonsense, usually you could handle silly little stuff like it.
Tonight, though, every little thing felt more prominent than it should. The way the water lapped at the shore was much too loud for your taste, and the glowing reflection of the moon's and the stars bright beams of shimmering light were shining directly in your eyes. You rubbed at your wrists absentmindedly. Jax’s ears twitched.
"You’re doing the thing again." He glanced over at your hands.
"That." He gestured lazily toward your hands. "The fidgety, stressed-looking thing."
"I always look stressed."
“Yeah, but usually it’s funny.” You huffed a laugh through your nose, but it came out weaker than you intended it to. Jax tilted his head slightly, looking in your direction. You looked upset... he didn't think you could actually show how you felt around him.
You stared out across the glowing lake. "I dunno," you muttered. "I think everything’s just getting to me lately."
"That’s because this place sucks." He snarked carelessly, getting ready to change the topic.
"No, I mean-" You stopped yourself. The words felt embarrassing now that they were actually sitting in your throat. Jax watched you quietly, unusually patient, as the silence seemed to stretch on for a prolonged period of time.
"You can say it, y’know." You swallowed hard.
"I already had issues before ending up here," you admitted softly. "Like… actual issues. I was on medication back home. I had routines and therapy stuff, real ways to manage everything." Your fingers tightened together.
"And now I’m stuck in…" you gestured vaguely around the glowing nightmare lake with your hand, "…this. This place, that doesn't let me, that doesn't allow me to cope or heal from anything that goes on in here, anything that I want to move on from!"
A shooting star streaked across the sky in zigzags, and that’s what made you finally glance at his direction, at him. His usual smug expression had faded into something quieter, something harder to read into until he finally spoke up with a question you weren't exactly hoping for.
"You think you’re gonna abstract?" he asked. The question came out blunt, but not cruel. You hesitated before answering his question with a nervous change in your vocal pitch.
"...Sometimes." The water lapped gently against the dock, slowly growing quieter.
"I’m trying really hard not to," you continued quickly. "I am. But everything here is so loud all the time and bright and confusing and nobody ever sleeps and every adventure feels like a panic attack waiting to happen and-" You stopped yourself as you realized that you had started rambling on into a rant you weren't very sure he wanted to hear.
"Sorry. Forget it." Jax stared at you for a long moment before speaking.
"…Hey." You felt his arm bump against your shoulder. It was an awkwafd action, like he wasn’t fully sure how comforting people worked. You made eyecontact with the humanoid purple rabbit.
"You don’t... you don't gotta apologize for that." He sighed deeply and looked away from you as your chest tightened painfully, your voice threatening to crack with every shakey breath you took.
"I just don’t wanna be difficult."
"You’re not difficult," Jax said immediately. The sincerity in his voice hit harder than you expected. You laughed shakily, pressing your hands against your eyes.
"God, you being nice is freaking me out."
"Yeah, well.... Don’t tell anybody.. Or else."
"...I’ve got a reputation to uphold."
Despite yourself, another laugh escaped you, Jax relaxed slightly at the sound of your laughter, and for a while, the two of you just sat there beneath the artificial stars. The overstimulation still buzzed beneath your skin, but it wasn't as bad as it was before now that you got most of it out of your system. Then Jax suddenly nudged your shoulder again. "C’mere."
Before you could react properly, he pulled you sideways until your head rested against him. You froze in shock before looking up at him, seeing his flushed face looking in the opposite direction.
Your face felt warm. The steady rise and fall of his breathing grounded you more than you wanted to admit, more than you'd like to admit.
"...thank you." He looked away gruffly, pushing you away slightly.
