This big guy is my newest addition to my business, Enix! He was rescued from a family that got him for their son. He was being fed bad cat food and was kept in a cage that was too small. He's come a long way since then and will remain in my home for the rest of his life!

So I joined a ferret monthly secret santa group on Facebook (the Gifting Ferret, if anyone wants to join) and we received July's gifts the other day! Sega loves the cuddle bed, and Sony adores the sleep sack hammock. Zebra print is my favorite pattern, so I'm a very happy ferrent as well!

A lot has happened since the last time I updated this blog! Sony and Sega are doing alright, enjoying their hours of out of cage time. We did have a scare with Sony about a month ago.

I stepped on her, but thank goodness she is just fine!

PSA: your ferret doesn't care(or know) what pronouns you refer to it as. Referring to Sony as a he OR a she makes no difference to Sony.

So a post on the Holistic Ferrets facebook group made me think to check Sony's sex and he is actually a female! Her name will remain the same and I'll have to remember that whenever I talk about her now
