Note from the heart for the woman who birthed me - Sorry, I am losing you to Cancer. She loved me dearly even before I was conceived. Sheltered and shielded me within her body for 8 months. It must have been an extremly painful experience. That was 2 decades ago but she still treats me the same. A mothers love is unchanging and ever so pure. She was diagnosed with Ovary Cancer 5 years ago. Her world, hope and faith crumbled. As the cells kept dividing, spreading and multiplying, the rounds of checkup, chemotherapy and surgery, all I could do was and is say, "Mama things are gona get better".
