I'm posting this to explain what happened to my Tumblr account recently.

Someone messaged me saying they "accidentally reported my account," even claiming they'd reported it 69 times and that I might get an IP ban. They then directed me to contact "support" via Discord/WhatsApp to resolve the issue.

After investigating, I realized this is a fairly common scam:

There's no such thing as reporting someone by mistake multiple times.

Official Tumblr support doesn't work via Discord or WhatsApp.

Requesting me to log out or uninstall the app is suspicious.

But I did following following instructions from those accounts. (My bad)

So now I'll just accept that my account is gone

If anyone encounters a similar situation, please be careful and don't follow instructions from my old account @smilerua or anything its say

Oh and I'm planning to take a rather long break (probably?) for my final exams and the IELTS, so I hope to get back to drawing as soon as possible

At the same time, I'm having quite a few problems with drawing Sun and Moon, and it's stressing me out a bit. If anyone has any useful information or insights about drawing techniques and inspiration, please share them with me so I can improve my drawing skills.

Thankfully knew about the scam already but damn. Hey at least it lead me on a hunt to find you. Your twitter is still up on the blogs bio so I was able to find your real account through there.

So sorry about your old account tho that really sucks.

Thank you for your effort in finding me (´TωT`) even I am looking for ways to spread the post quickly to prevent similar cases from happening to me.

For now, I've taken all the necessary steps to prevent losing this account from having too serious an impact on me, and I'm ready to use this new account to post from now on in case the issue isn't resolved. ( ´∀｀ )b
