isn’t it sad that we blame ourselves for others being incapable of loving us correctly. as if it hasn’t got everything to do with them and nothing to do with us. i guess it hurts less for us to think it’s our fault because that means we can change how we are and that it’ll change how they feel. isn’t it sad how that could not be further from the truth. we should know better by now. we will never have to change who we are for love. you’d think we’d know better by now. i wish we did.

i guess we’re destined to repeat our mistakes until we’re ready to learn from them.
