Set Design Venture

Not too long ago, I have decided and came in realization that I have a really strong passion for set design. I just never really thought it was something I could really get into since my focus has always been digitally oriented. Luckily, I have met some wonderful cinematographers and photographers throughout various projects, and here we are collaborating on this really new and exciting venture. This was our first session for a product shoot. More wip comming soon!

12 Day Color Challenge 

After a very long winter, and disappointing start of spring, my friend Ally and I decided to take on the 12 Day Color Challenge, a curated list of colors by a fashion blog. It’s been a fun little after work hours adventure documenting it amongst the charming architecture of Downtown Pittsburgh.

So, I skipped a few months. Been away a lot and a little uninspired through winter. But I am sensing a flower collage overload. That said, first two collages of May are up.

Walk Souvenir : January

Last weekend was one of the first best days for sledding as we had a little over 7 inches of snow. I, of course, snuck in my little winter treasure souvenirs picking along. I am really enjoying the contrast on these collages series as each month goes by.

Walk Souvenir : D e c e m b e r 

I saved this December's walk souvenir post for my trip to Thailand. A mix of coral rocks from Koh Samui, Chaweng beach, and some common Thai flowers, picked up in Pattaya, that also grow in many provinces in Thailand. Such as the Thai Lurline , Melaki (Milky way flower) and the most popular, Plumeria, ลีลาวดี, pronounced,"Lee-Laa-wa-dii".

Looking forward to my next nature venture this January!

Backpacking through Thailand

Right now, all I can see is a map and imagination is running wild  while day dreaming, eating Thai take outs and watching number of documentaries / Thailand related fun flicks, like Bangkok Dangerous, staring Nicolas Cage, or Bitter Sweet. But the time has come, days are approved at work, and the tickets are bought! See you soon,Thailand !
