hey so is anyone talking about how gerson says "Chapter 5: The Field of Pink and Gold" and that's literally IMAGE_FRIEND's colors or did i just miss that part of the deltarune discussion

like i know it's very clear that it's gonna have a lot to do with asgore anyways im not saying it WONT but there's a good chance that Friend is going to be important to this chapter, especially since it seems we're a lot closer to the end than people think (unless there's more surprise chapters)

there could also be an argument to be made that he says "Pink and GOLD" specifically to differentiate it but... kinda hard to differentiate yellow from gold in a pixel art game anywho so...

anyways i hope people much smarter than i take this theory and run with it PLEASE

but we've only seen half the story; half the picture. susie; i happen to believe she is the dead center of the cracks in fate. as the old man said; she holds the pen that writes in the darkness between the lines, and she's already made her first stroke.

her healing. she was thought to fit the role of the tank, but she's already become so much more. she's changed so fundamentally; what's to say the future cannot as well?

we will have our happy ending together. hope, white hot as it turns the stories forced on us to ash, will bring us together, and we will smile upon that new day.

we will not stop working until this happens. no matter how many times we need to try, not matter how niche a path must be taken, we will find our way.

the thing that really takes me out of the immersion of the snowgrave/weird route is that Noelle is much faster AND can freeze her opponents, so it doesn't really make sense how she'd let kris do those things to her

kris is such a weird little guy. to explain their behavior, i like to think there's,,, kinda three parts to them–

one, which is... us. it's just us when we're Kris, and we sometimes make them to things they dont wanna do- it's just us.

the second is just, the normal- albeit, probably extremely depressed- teen. the one who lawnmowers susie over a snack tray, or pours juice into her mouth. the one who hugs ralsei, WITHOUT us telling them to, at least explicitly

and the third is EVIL kris who does EVIL things with EVIL carol and EVIL rory nyte even thought WE'RE PURE and have never done ANYTHING to deserve this

last part's kinda satire. idk, i think they're doing it for a reason, not purely to work against us- kris SEEMS like a nice enough kid without us. but maybe im just coping

im all for people including the freedom motif in their own songs– especially character themes– and i live for it, + do it myself! however, i really wish people would use it in ways other than the specific melody in THE WORLD REVOLVING (or BIG SHOT, but it's a little different)

Dialtone and Hammer of Justice are really good examples of how to utilize the freedom motif in different ways– and, for those who didn't know, since i haven't seen much mention of it, yes, Dialtone has the freedom motif. it's just... messed up.

so, if you write music, and add the freedom motif!!! mix it up a little! split the phrase, change a phew notes, whatever!!! we've all been so overexposed with it that it's pretty easy to recognize, so be creative!!
