This happened like weeks agooo..but saw a coworker was twisting their neck around due to discomfort and I couldn’t remember a specific word so I instead said, “oh you kirked your neck or something?”

I got the copic x wha markers bc like fuck it but also I’m hoping it can get me motivated to do some traditional stuff bc I have barely picked up a pencil at all this year

#same can go for digital too #I’ve just been feeling very meh about my art #and also self conscious about it too #I rlly miss doing art

Earlier today I was cutting away the skin of a jimaca and somehow a small chunk of it broke off and jabbed right under my thumbnail, causing blood to spurt out 😭 like it still stings despite it happening hours ago..

#like I guessed it sorta slipped from my grip #it was a big one sooo #and then after clipping my dog’s nails #his paw scratch my knee and gave me a small cut #I didn’t even notice it until my lil sis pointed it out #and while clipping his nails I accidentally clipped to far on 3 of them #to which they bled but thankfully corn starch did the trick of stopping the bleeding

For my bday, I went out and did some shopping, picked up my favorite cake and takeout then went home and chill

I’ve been doing that for the past several years now

#I wouldn’t say it’s lonely doing that #bc I get to do things at my own pace and go to stores I want to check out #I even went and found a pacific rim figure alongside a king ghidoriah one at the thrift store #besides I’m getting dinner with my family this weekend

Aw family got me a cake and even candles for my bday. Didn’t expect them to do that, we’re not a very affectionate bunch so it’s kinda awkward when things like that are done lol

Didn’t realize I can get charged for a 2 minute call from the doctor…like I got bloodwork done back in January, why am I just now getting a bill for that 2 minute call?? And it’s $230??? Like I paid the blood work results already and I understand getting charged for blood getting drawn but to get charged for a call that basically said I was fine??

I even asked when I was getting bloodwork done if I needed to pay for the service but they said no and that I’ll get a bill from the lab themselves which I did pay…I’m just in shock

Update! I called and they adjusted the bill so now I only have to pay $35 😏

Reworked a one-off oc’s design and lore: They are a celestial being who is awaken from a centuries long slumber when they are summoned by a young child who happens to be a descendant of their twin sibling (who has long since passed). Now they must look after this child while also trying to adjust to life of the current era and process everything that’s happened over the centuries they were asleep.
