today we finished resi 7 for the first time as our halloween game SO REVIEW: really really good
we dreaded the second half of the game ( we were very familiar with it from watching others so this was far from a blind playthrough) but it was nowhere near as bad as we remembered. it drops from the imo near perfect first half for sure but not in any that truly left a bad taste.
now we can properly say its one of our favorite horror games of all time without the caveat that wed never actually tried it first hand lol
we liked village a lot (and itās next up for a playthrough) but we had felt like it compromised a bit too much on what made 7 stand out gameplay wise and seeing it first hand definitely cemented that, they are nearly completely different games when compared beyond the base presentation and story continuationā¦. we can see how village could be more appealing to people but we respect 7s dedication to making the player work around its far more limited systems. and the progression of what inventory upgrades you do get is paced so well in making you really feel the struggle for space just before giving you more space to handle the gradual higher ammo counts and item variety
we hope people understand what we mean when we say resident evil 7 is oddly kind of comfy when youā ve grown familiar with it, in the many moments of quiet when youāre just going around this old farm house solving puzzles and stocking up on items while the presentation puts on its show of maximum immersion. it really sets you up for when the next whatever wild ass thing that will inevitably follow.

its been a day
system restore fixed the one issue we were having.
and then it created like 15 other issues.
what is that chompy little lad? I think I remember having a toy a lot like it, but I seem to remember that its something like a jet instead of a sleek monster truck looking thing.
its rip rat from the hot wheels attack pack toy series! There were air vehicles as well as monster trucks so it could have been from the same series
