Do y'all think Soyer was internally panicking when he found out about Curd's death?

Cuz like, we all know that even though Soyer was the boss of BMP, it was Curd that was doing most, if not all the work and string pulling. Curd even mentions it himself.

When we see Soyer for the first time at the beginning of the game, he's really angry and intense. He's even like this during the party scene when you play the tape. While it does seem like a genuine reaction when all your secrets spill, I can't help but think that he's just really sloppy when it comes to covering his tracks. Curd would help him with that given how much more composed he was compared to Soyer. Hell, he literally runs away when he realizes that he's fucked.

Speaking of the tape scene, Soyer said that Curd kept having "night sweats" about Stilton, and Soyer was determined to stop him from getting the mayor's position. I may be grasping at straws, but i think that even if Soyer wanted to be elected mayor, it was also Curd who influenced his decision greatly.

And Jack even straight up says to Soyer during the boss fight that he's useless without Curd "feeding him orders". Which Soyer gets greatly offended at.

So I'm just thinking that maybe after Soyer found out about Curd's death, he freaked out because now he had to follow on the rest of his bad decisions by himself.
