It should come as no surprise that Papa Smurf has a soft spot for children of all species. So when the village elder happened upon a wayward human child wandering the woodlands near their village, he knew he needed to investigate.
He doesn't approach right away, first quietly observing from the safety of the dense undergrowth. He did not want to reveal himself just yet.
Hm… Human, that much is for certain. Though quite young to be on her own.
Papa's eyes scanned the area. No signs of any adult humans anywhere. Any other time, that would be a blessing. At this moment, however, it all but confirmed his suspicions. This child was most definitely lost, and Papa Smurf knew all too well the dangers that lurked in the deeper woods… Most pressingly, a certain dark-robed evil wizard.
It was decided, then.
Papa emerged from the brush and cautiously approached the child. There was no telling how she would react to a creature like him, and he did not wish to startle her.
“ Pardon me! Down here, miss. ” he called up to her, waving his arm to catch her attention. “ Don't be frightened, little one. I mean you no harm. I am Papa Smurf. Who are you? ”
I saw this one tumblr post and had to make this, I couldn't help it. The Smurfs are literally bean-shaped. How much more bean can those beans get? Can they or can they not get anymore bean? Such smurfy little beans. Smurfy good ol' beans.
THEY ARE LITERALLY WALKING LITTLE BEANS.
Even the female Smurfs like Look at Smurfette for example. Her high heels and even her hair.... Bean-shaped.
The only difference between an actual bean and the Smurf is that Smurfs shouldn't be eaten.
