It took some while, but I've finally started colouring.

The new sketchbook I decided to try out is really nice. Not the best paper I've ever tried, but considering the price there's nothing to complain about.

During one of his visits to Smurfette's house to help her with some chores, Hefty was captivated by the scent of the flowers Smurfette grew; he felt a sense of relaxation whenever he smelled them

From then on, Hefty began his hobby of flower gardening, regardless of what the other Smurfs talked

There were certainly many setbacks the first time, but Hefty isn't one to give up easily, so he persevered, hoping to experience that comfortable feeling more often

This hobby also gradually changed his personality in a more positive direction, and the other Smurfs, having become accustomed to the change, no longer talked about it

Ok here's my interpretation or headcanon of Hefty's personality from the Village comic to the Grove one. I needed something to act as a bridge, and his hobby of flower gardening was a perfect fit

So like, something happened the other night and now I'm on a Smurf brainrot. And I realized I'm an artist and I can draw what I want and next thing you know I got like ten pages in my sketchbook and I got my markers out for the first time in forever. I am so normal about Vanity btw

Also granity. Did I mention granity? Yeah I like them a lot. They give me strong huskerdust vibes so I also doodled some stuff from their songs because that's how normal I am.

Aaaaand random bullshit from me learning to draw these thangs for four days straight (there are more but I refuse to let the first ones ever see the light of day)

And bonus because I said so

You don't know how many times I started drawing a Smurf only to add Vanity's flower on their hat because it doesn't scratch my brain as much if it doesn't have it.

The Smurfs: The Village behind the Wall - A new beginning
