As a kid, I used to keep bones from dinner…usually chicken bones. I’d take them to my room and gnaw on them, not really thinking about why, just following an instinct that felt completely natural to me. When I was done, I’d hide them under my pillow.

I think we should normalize talking about these kinds of experiences that felt undeniably right to us, no matter how “odd” they may seem. Especially within the therian community, sharing these memories helps us understand ourselves and each other better.

While you predators are thinking about how to get your paws on a gun and get into hunting, this hare is thinking about what nutritious and delicious meal she can make from the abundance of dandelions, which are in season right now.

Ordinary grass, no matter how fresh it looks or how enticing it smells, is absolutely useless for this human costume. But there are some wild grasses that are perfectly suitable. For example, dandelions.

I decided to try making jam from the yellow flowers. They say it tastes like honey. Look how many I’ve gathered. 400 g. When it's done, I'll tell you about its flavor.

Dragon rider who feels envious of their dragon. Of their scales and powerful body. Of their ability to fly. Oh how they wish they could be a dragon too, perhaps even closer to their dragon than what their human body would allow.

What the rider doesn't know is the dragon can read their thoughts and has known such pain before. That the dragon knows how such a wish could be granted but is unable to communicate how to do it. All the dragon can do is comfort their rider until they discover the secret for themselves.
