Hello Kitty Special Edition Country Ma’am Cookies – Vanilla and Strawberry
I only bought this because it's cute. That's it. Because truth be told, I'm not that fond of cookies and I will always prefer other sweets over a cookie. So I'm not really excited to taste this. However, this turned out pretty decent.
This is special edition to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Hello Kitty. There are 10 individually wrapped cookies - 5 vanilla and 5 strawberry flavor. I like individually wrapped snacks because I'm not required to eat all in one sitting and I can always bring a pack or two with me.
The texture of these cookies is delightful - crunchy on the outside, soft, and chewy on the inside. However, the vanilla one isn't vanilla at all. It's chocolate. Not that I'm complaining because it's pretty good, but they should have called it 'chocolate' instead (or is chocolate indicated in packaging and I just can't read Japanese?) The strawberry flavored cookies are looks appetizing (at least to me) because it's pink, but I found the flavor too sweet and overwhelming.
Overall, they are delicious. I particularly like the texture and I would love to try the other flavors of Country Ma'am cookies.
