Bourbon: Rich Matcha Blanchul Mini Cookies
"Enjoy the superb taste of matcha chocolate & cookie made with the finest ingredients."
I'm suffering from the worst sore throat I ever had my entire life (not that I get them frequently), and I figured I can't eat anything too sweet. I'm a genius like that. So, I went for this matcha cookie.
I'm a huge fan of rich matcha taste without cream or sweeteners, and although this cookie's filling definitely has cream in it (of course, it's chocolate), I can say I enjoyed it. My mom and sister, who are not familiar with matcha, did too. I asked them how it was, they responded "Tastes like tea." So I guess it's okay for matcha newbies (lol at newbies)? The sweetness doesn't overpower the matcha taste and still leave that unmistakable aftertaste.
The box contains 12 mini cookies, about the size of half of a thumb. The cookies themselves are thin and crumbly. Sorry, wasn't able to taste them on their own, so I can't really tell if they're good (i.e. tastes like matcha as well.)
Overall, it's a good snack that can be consumed in 2-3 minutes, forgettable, yes, but not entirely a waste of money.
