It’s been awhile.
I didn’t think I’d ever get access to this blog again. So I guess i’ll update everyone. For everyone that follows Snaggle and still remembers him, I’m sad to say he passed from this life and crossed the rainbow bridge two years ago, in May. He was 17 years old, and very much loved. He passed in the living room of my home, surrounded by family that loved him so very much. This blog will be kept as a remembrance of his antics, personality, and spirit. He coped with so many issues but always found time to just be a dog. The best one I’ll ever have. We couldn’t let his legacy go, though, and we started a local foundation in his name: The Snaggletooth Initiative. As many of you know, Snaggle had heart failure as a result of poor dental health early in his life. Too many pet parents don’t realize how important the care of your pooch teeth is, and we just couldn’t bear to watch dogs get heart disease unnecessarily. So, with The Snaggletooth Initiative, we help provide life saving dental care to pets of all ages, and also help afford the medication and care of pets with dental-related heart disease. Snaggle lives on every day, while we help prevent cases like his. <3 If you have any memories of Snaggle you’d like to share feel free. He lives on with me in my heart every single day. Thank you for reading.
