My friend seems to be in a really abusive relationship. Her boyfriend is terrible and jealous and extremely possessive. Most importantly he’s an asshole especially when drunk so I’m very worried about her safety. We’re newish friends so I’m unsure on how to approach this or if I should just mind my own business but that doesn’t seem right. Help plz

Hey, you seem like a really good friend! I was in a similar situation myself and I always tried to butt in- but that’s not the right thing to do. I ended up finding out that my friend who I thought was being abused, was actually a huge abuser herself. I’m not saying that’s the case in your situation- but just remember that things always look different from the outside.

Find a kind and polite way to express your concern, just ask about it. Tell them you think they deserve great things and their partners actions seem less than great. Approach with love and caring- but it’s not your relationship. it’s not your place to say. If they need help, they can ask for help. But otherwise i’d say keep a distance.. things always appear different on the outside. I wish you and them the best of luck!

Hahaha i don’t really remember my login for that one, i will try to log back in there later! this was my first tumblr i made in like 2011. i just used goblin party as a medium while i worked on myself. I have a lot of followers here, some are great- some are rude. I needed a more positive social media environment while i worked on my strength :) Goblin party served me very well!
