#shadowandbone #shadowandbone2 #sixofcrows #sixofcrowsspinoff PLEASE WE HAVE TO MAKE IT REAL
“netflix only cares about twitter“ alright we can do this. let‘s use #SixofCrowsSpinoff go go go ON TWITTER!!
antis: Snape ignored James' corpse, hugged Lily's dead body, ignored his crying son, he is very creepy
also antis: the scene in which Snape protects Harry, Hermione and Ron from the werewolf is useless because it only appears in the movies
antis: snape is a creepy because he passed over James's corpse unnoticed and embraced Lily's dead body while her baby cried.
pro snape: hey! that only happened in the movies, it's not a true cannon, but if you look at it like that... then Snape protected the boys from the werewolf by putting his body in front of him.
antis: STOP INVENTING THINGS, THAT ONLY HAPPENED ON THE MOVIE. Snape is gross, and he should wash with shampoo. Bye.
pro snapes: ???????
But seriously even some James fans don’t understand that he was not a bully, he and Snape both hated each other and were equally cruel to each other-after all-its not like Snape didn’t have plenty of death eater friends to help him go up against the four marauders (at that, only James and Sirius were involved in that crap anyway). James and Snape are compared to Harry and Draco-they were both as bad as each other. In Snape’s worst memory, we are shown the equivalent of the scene where Harry attacks Draco in the bathroom. if you only saw this scene from Dracos POV and weren’t shown the many times Draco tormented Harry, you’d assume Harry was a bully, but obviously, he isn’t. Same deal with James. Just because we only saw one scene of him from the POV of someone who hated his guts, doesn’t mean he was a bad person. He did stuff that was shitty, but Snape was equally as bad-he obviously created spells like sectumsempra with James in mind-which is a lot harsher than a prank intended to embarrass him.
Sorry, I just adore James Potter and can’t stand when people don’t realise this crap.
I disagree. In the bathroom scene of Harry and Draco, it's Draco who starts attacking Harry, so from the beginning your post is wrong (Harry isn't seen as a bully)
Second, James literally says that he attacks Snape 'because he exists, if you know what I mean', when they ask him why he does it, which clearly is a sign that James is a bully, so we can see there which is attacking and hexing him for fun. After SWM, Remus and Sirius confirm that James and Sirius attacked Snape and that they didn't stop: 'well, James didn't take Snape to his dates with Lily to hexing him in front of her'. So here it is very clear that it is James the bully, not Snape.
Also, at what time does the book say that Snape had friends who would protect him? (I remember that in SWM, NO ONE is going to help him, and it is related as there is a large crowd)
Love Snape or hate him, the theory that Snape knew Sirius was innocent doesn't make sense. Sirius and the Potters made Peter Pettigrew Secret Keeper, without telling anyone. Not Remus or even Dumbledore. Pettigre revealed the secret to Voldemort alone, and Voldemort couldn't have revealed it to anyone else because that's how Fidelius Charm works. Only Voldemort, Sirius and Pettigrew could have know about the betrayal.
Basically, James Potter and Sirius Black are Dudley Dursley and his friends but handsome and charismatic. And the teachers are the Dursleys, who do not stop them.
Snape
• He likes chocolate, but not black or white, in between.
• He is asexual.
• He is shy and doesn't like to talk to new people.
• The first time he invented a spell, he tried it and it worked out well, a smile appeared on his face.
• He liked to paint (but he wasn't very good at it)
• He likes to read a lot, especially Muggle authors because even though he hates them, he can't let himself be trapped by his words.
• In his free time he tries to write poetry, which he then doesn't show to anyone.
• The first time he drank alcohol, he was with Lucius, who handed him a glass.
• Their first concert was with Lucius, Regulus and Barty Crouch Jr. they had a great time and sang so much that the next morning they were aphonic.
• Snape and Barty Crouch Jr. were friends, they were joined by their hatred of their parents, they sat on the grass and broke leaves from the bushes as they talked.
• Snape, Lucius and Narcissa spent a Christmas together at the Malfoy Mansion, where to cheer up the little Draco they decorated the whole house with a multitude of colors and bright stars.
Snape & Lily
Snape did not love Lily, not romantically as a girlfriend or partner, nor in a sexual way. He loved her like a sister, like a best friend
"But we supposed to be friends. Good friends."
"We are, Sev."
He wants to rescue her because he is his sister, is someone who saved him and with whom he has shared good memories. Lily is someone important for him. But only friends, not in a romantic way.
The memories of Snape
(This post will not focus on the Always that we all remember, is to point out something else).
In the book "Deathly Hallows", just before dying, Snape delivers his memories or memories to Harry. Of course, we are all clear that the main reason was to let Harry know that he was a Horcrux.
Although fame continues to emerge why Snape showed Harry that he was a great friend of his mother (Not to say that he loved her).
Many people have said that it was for Harry to forgive him; others, to be treated as a hero and also to show Harry that the Marauders were assholes.
I think, quite contrary to what people think, Snape showed exactly those memories to Harry not to make him feel compassion, because Snape has never cared what people thought of him (this is seen throughout the books), so in my view it would not matter that Harry believed him or not a bad person.
But... why does he show his story and not just the memories of Dumbledore asking him to kill him?
Because Snape is an expert in Legilimens and Ocluments. And Harry knows. He taught him in OoTP. Harry might think that Snape -who would still be on Voldemort's side- was leading him into a trap so that he would die. Harry knows that by changing a memory a white fog appears, but he might think that Snape had found a way to remove the fog. Then he would not believe him and Voldemort would still have a Horcrux. Neither to leave in bad place to James Potter or Sirius Black, since in that case the memories would have shown the attack of the werewolf or like Sirius tricked to Snape. No, Snape is not looking for compassion. Deffinitely, (and I hope you did not get bored) I think Snape gave his memories with Lily to Harry so he could believe him.
