i saw someone say once that the only times catra has scratched adora intentionally, with the exception of when catra was younger of course, have been when adora was she-ra, because she knew that adora wouldn’t be hurt. that she would heal. but in save the cat, catra scratches adora, not she-ra. and while catra isn’t catra in that moment, it must be a large source of pain later on when she sees those scars and knows that despite all the times she tried not to hurt adora, she still ended up hurting her
